The Purple Moon

"Red alert"

I woke up from my long sleep. The sounds of the water rushing in the harbour. It was the best sound. I walked downstairs and saw Jack eating cereal at the island and Alex grabbing some juice from the fridge.
"Morning boys". I said coming down the stairs.
"Morning". Both boys replied. I walked behind Alex to grab some cereal. He was wearing a white tang top showing off his big muscles. I pretended not to look even though my eyes were glued to them. I grabbed the cereal and saw Jack wrapping his hands around himself and pretending to make out with the air acting how he sees me and Alex. I playfully throw some peanuts at Jack as we both silently laugh. Alex finally turns around and walks behind me while I grab some pots and pans to make eggs. I was struggling to grab a pan for the eggs. He ducked down to my level and butted in front of me.
"There ya go". He said with the sexiest smile I've ever seen. He gave me the pan.
"Thanks" I said laughing that my scrawny little arms can't even get pans. Alex and I made breakfast together and played some music. It was the first time I've actually laughed and had fun since the whole invasion happened. We danced together in the kitchen. It was so much fun.... he was so much fun. Even though we've only known each other for 24 hours. Out of nowhere I heard a strange ringtone. I looked all over from where it was coming from. There was an tablet screen on the wall next to the apartment door. Uncle Tom was calling.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Jesse, meet me and your father downstairs in the lab room in 10 minutes, we've got something to show you". He said sounding excited. I finished my breakfast and headed upstairs to get dressed. I hear a knock at the door. I was fully dressed.
"Come in". I say at the door. I finish putting on my shoes as I see Alex coming in.
"Hey, you ok?" I asked him as he came closer.
"Yeah, I just really don't know what the next thing is gonna be like... you know, with these aliens and shit". He said with his hands in his pockets. I was a bit confused but understood him at the same time. I looked away towards the window.
"Yeah, I know what you mean, it's crazy out there. The moons getting bigger, everything's changing". I say. I hear warm breathing on the back of my head. I turn my head slightly and look up to see Alex's eyes locked in with mine. He leans in for a kiss. Our lips connect as he puts his hands on my face. His warm lips and breathing calmed me down. Our lips started making a smacking sound. I break the kiss.
"I'm... sorry". He said backing away. I pull him in for another kiss. He breaks the kiss and looks at me with love in his eyes. He gives me a sexy smirk. We hear a gulp. We turn our heads to my bedroom door that is wide open and see Jack standing there with his mouth wide open.
"Ok so... you got that". I say awkwardly cutting the tension.
"Ya, soooo". Alex says to help me out. We each grab our bags and head down down to the lab. As the elevator went down Alex and I stood beside each other. He grabs my hand. I look up at him with a lip smile. We held hands for the entire elevator ride. We got off and went to the lab. We separated hands as we walk into the lab. I see mom talking to Tom. She looks healthy, young and beautiful as ever!
"Mom!" I say as I run towards her to hug her. She hugs me back.
"Hello, honey". She says.
"How are you?" She asks with joy.
"I'm fine, I have so much to tell you". I say.
We fast forward to dinner. I was finishing up eating my steak and mashed potatoes and beans when I saw Alex leave the table with his dishes to the kitchen.
"May I be excused". I asked antsy to see Alex. Dad nods and speed walk to the kitchen to see Alex and drop off my dishes. I scoot beside him. We talk about funny things and overall have a good time. I go to my bathroom suit and get undressed for a shower. I turn the water to warm and walk in. I hear the door open and quietly, I look back and see Alex walking in. We both giggle as he takes off his shirt. He reveals his packed stomach and takes off the rest of his clothes. I immediately get butterflies in my stomach as we walks into the shower with me. He wraps his arms around me and kisses me. We kissed for several minutes as we lather each other in soap and wash each other's bodies off with soap. We both get out of the shower and make out on my bed for a while. After the intense kiss session we cuddle in bed for awhile. My arm and head on his chest and our legs tangled in each other. He brushes his hair in my hair gracefully as he pecks my head every couple minutes. I wake up with my head still on his chest. I look out of the balcony glass windows and see the bright moon still landed on Earth. The moon was now bright purple. It's as the force field was now on the moon. My eyes go to the clock and see it's 2am. The beautiful night sky and the bright white stars shining in through the room and the bright purple moon. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen, other than Alex. I felt myself drifting back off to sleep on Alex's warm radiating chest. I wake up to the most annoying worst sounding alarm system ever. The entire room was blinking red. Jack bursts into my room seeing me and Alex cuddling. Alex wakes up and gets dressed. I get dressed with him and run downstairs to see what's going on.
"Red alert. Red alert". The system of the building kept respecting as the apartment was flashing red.
