The Purple Moon

"Bad bitch"

The closet door opened as me and Jack were huddled together. An alien opened the door and pointed a gun at Jack as we squeezed each other's hands prepared to go out. We heard a bullet sound. We opened our eyes and saw the aliens stomach had blood coming out of it. He fell to the ground. Jack and I were confused on who shot the alien. Jack and I walk out of the closet and see mom holding a handgun.
"Mom!" I shout in tears. The three of us hug.
"What happened to you?" I asked mom.
"That doesn't matter, all that matters is that we're all together. She says in relief. We run back to the file centre and see if we could find Toms file. We search inside and out for his file and still nothing. Then I was searching through the Js section I found my name. I wasn't even surprised at this point. I looked through it.

I closed the file and continued to look through everything. After half an hour of searching we didn't find anything. We took the elevator up to the lab floor. The elevator door opened to Tom designing suit and and doing mathematical and scientific calculations on a giant screen.
"Tom?" My mom says.
"Oh good you guys are still alive!" He says with joy.
"What's going on here?" I ask.
"Ok so Jesse you know how you have that fun, cool purple energy power stuff right?" He asks.
"Yea... I would put call it fun but ok".
"Well, I have been designing a super suit for you, so you can destroy this moon! It controls your powers better". He says with pride. He tells me to try on the suit. I go to the closet in the lab and try it on. It looks just like black widows suit but purple. I looked at suit in amazement.
"Wow... you did this?" I asked Tom with a smile.
"Yep!" He replied.
"Well cmon test your powers with your new suit!" Tom said eagerly.
"But... the lab, do u still need to do work?" I asked concerned. He said no. I went in the middle of the room and let my anger control me. I felt my eyes turn colour and my energy growing out of me. I looked up at the ceiling with bright purple flaming eyes, my feet picked up off the floor as I was floating. I continued looking up at the ceiling and before I knew it I had bursted though the roof, and through the 234 floors that were in the moon. I flew through the top of the moon to find myself floating on top of the moon looking down at earth. It was beautiful, both space and earth were connected. My eyes turned back. I looked down to see my family starting up at me through the 234 broken floors. I finally knew my purpose. I was the chosen one. I started to question why I saw my mom on the build-boarding my dream. I floated back down to the lab. I got down and saw everyone's smile.
"Mom can I speak to you in private". I ask her.
"Of course sweetie". She said. I pulled her into the hallway.
"Mom, a few weeks ago back when you were still asleep I had a dream that you were running for mayor in a futuristic city". I said to her. Her face went in shock real fast as I gave her the details of my dream.
"Mom?" I ask her as she looks faint.
"Yes... yes.. sweetie?" She says going back to normal. I raised my eyebrow.
"Are you ok? Have you had that dream before?" I asked with another million questions.
"Sweetie, this is gonna sound completely ballistically insane ok?" She said.
"Ok.. what is it?" I replied.
"That dream you had wasn't a dream, that actually happened". She said biting fee finger in her lip as she waits for my reaction.
"What? What do you mean? That you were a mayor in a hundred years?" I say frightened.
"Yes, Sweetie I know it's hard to take in but I was the chosen one from the moon before you!" She says pointing to my heart.
"Then is that why you're eyes turn purple when that purple portal opens up?" I ask. She nods awkwardly. I finally realized everything now!
"Wait so does that mean you have all the powers I do?!". I asked her. Suddenly her eyes turn purple and the energy comes out of her hands. I smile and laugh in relief. We walked back into the lab and told them everything. We get mom suited up in the same suit as me. We grab all the guns from the gun room for Tom and Jack. We 4 walk to the elevator. We each take a deep breath and exhale. We go into the elevator to the next floor. During the wait mom and I stood beside each other. We look at each other in the eyes with a smile and glow. We grab each other's hands as the door opens. All the aliens on that floor look at us in shock. The four of us look at each other with evil smirks.
"Ready... set... GOOO!" We all shout as we run towards the aliens. Mom and I use our energy powers to blast off and kill the aliens. Jack and Tom continue to shoot the aliens in the heads and bodies. We Marta kick, punch, kart wheel and everything. We fought over 50 aliens. The last alien was coming towards me from a distance. I looked it dead in the eye and crushed it with my powers. Their head rolled over to me. It blinked and I stomped on it. Crushing all the brains out. The four of us ran into the gigantic hallway and huddled in a group as we shot, and battled all the aliens. Now we were getting our revenge.
