I turn my head slowly to look at Haymitch. The wind flows through his shoulder length blonde hair but then Haymitch vanishes and Peeta stands there instead, dressed in his black suit he wore at the Tribute parade a year ago. Everything moves in slow motion.
Peeta grabs around my hand, smiling warmly. "They'll love it." He whispers to me as I hear people screaming mine and Peeta's name. His voice is clear and for a moment I forget all the bad things he has done. I forget him betraying me, him killing Percy.. Cato.
