"If you wish to defeat me, train for a hundred more years," Technoblade hissed. Dream stared at him, shock and frustration welling up inside him as Techno began to grin. Dream slammed his hands down on the table, causing a few things to fall off, and glared at the other man.

"You can't just say that every single time you beat me at connect four!" He cried. Techno's grin widened and he let out a low chuckle.

"It seems I'm better at you than fighting and board games," Techno snickered, standing up. "Loser picks up the pieces," He added, nodding to the red and yellow circles that Dream had knocked onto the floor. "I'm gonna go talk to Tommy. He said he had some sort of surprise for me which I'm assuming is going to end up hurting someone," He sighed, heading for the door. Dream let out a groan and looked down at the mess he'd made.

"Are you kidding me?" He hissed once Techno was gone. "Seven times in a row?" Dream sighed and started gathering the colorful circles, putting them in a box, and standing up. He pushed his chair in with his foot and headed to a shelf, putting the box away and sighing again. "Show off," He muttered, heading for the door. He was supposed to meet George, Sapnap, BadBoyHalo, Skeppy, and Antfrost for lunch and he was already late. It's not my fault Technoblade takes an hour to finish a game of connect four. Dream thought sarcastically, opening the door. He grabbed his backpack full of some cookies he'd made, slung it over his shoulder, and headed outside.

"Hey Dream!" Dream spotted someone waving their hands wildly in the air and grinned as he recognized George's light blue shirt and beside him Dream's other friends.

"I brought cookies," Dream said.

"You're thirty minutes late," Sapnap sighed. "I'm starving,"

"Then eat," Dream said. "Sorry to keep you waiting," Dream handed his bag to Bad who took it and started passing out cookies. "Technoblade was being a jerk," Dream muttered.

"He was?" Antfrost said around a mouthful of what looked like a sandwich. "What did he do? Did he attack you?"

"No," Dream said. "He wasn't being violent-"

"But he threatened you?" Skeppy said, eyes wide.

"No!" Dream said. "He beat me at connect four seven times in a row and then told me I needed to train for a hundred years to beat him. Chill out, he didn't threaten me over a board game," Dream rolled his eyes and took a sandwich from George who was the only person who didn't look disapproving right now.

"Where is he?" Sapnap asked.

"Having lunch with his brothers," Dream said. "Why are you all so wary of him?" Dream asked. "We've had this discussion, he stays." Dream added a bit firmer, taking a bite of his sandwich.

"He murdered people, I'm not sure I can forgive that so easily," Bad sighed. "Given some time... maybe,"

"I murdered people," Dream snapped. "Why do I get forgiveness?"

"He killed a lot more people than you," Skeppy said.

"It's not the number of people we killed, it's the fact that we both did it that needs to be thought about," Dream said, taking another bite of his food. He'd said that to Tommy and Phil a while ago, maybe it was best his friends heard that too.

"Dream, you're our friend," Antfrost said. "We hardly know Technoblade."

"George?" Sapnap said. George looked up, his mouth full of a cookie, maybe two. "Who's side are you on?"

"Huh?" George said, his voice muffled by the cookie.

"Do you trust Technoblade or not?" Skeppy asked. George swallowed and glanced around.

"Well..." George started. "He did kill me, and attack me multiple times, and threaten to kill me again..." George trailed off.

"See Dream? No one here likes him," Antfrost said.

"You didn't let me finish," George said. "He also attacked Dream, and killed a lot of people, and spartan kicked Skeppy and knocked out Sapnap, and tried to kill Wilbur multiple times-"

"Ok, get to the point," Dream hissed, shifting uncomfortably.

"I don't think I'd want to be locked alone in a room with him, but if I was I don't think he'd kill me," George said. "So yeah, I trust him but I'm still scared of him,"

"What?" Sapnap said. "After everything you just said, everything he did, you trust him?"

"Well, yeah," George said. Dream grinned smugly and shot Sapnap a triumphant look.

"See?" Dream snickered. Sapnap ignored him and kept staring at George.

"Yeah, when Dream and I went to get him he had two opportunities to kill me," George said. "And even though Dream kept insulting him and being an absolute jerk to him, he didn't touch me,"

"I don't like him," Bad admitted. "He's got a weird vibe, a creepy backstory, and he's really rough around the edges. He won't open up to us at all,"

"He's still mad at you," Dream said. Bad's eyes widened and so did everyone besides George's.

"Why?" Bad hissed fearfully.

"You framed him and kicked him out of here," Dream said. "He doesn't like you guys, he thinks you're going to attack him,"

"Why would we attack him?" Sapnap scoffed.

"You kicked him out because he knocked Sapnap out, right?" Dream said. Everyone nodded. "And those were reflexes, can we all agree on that?"

"Fine..." Skeppy sighed. "Reflexes,"

"He's probably expecting you to attack him but he doesn't want to hurt you," Dream said.

"And he told you this?" Antfrost said.

"No," Dream said. "But I can tell though, he's a very paranoid person," Dream paused, taking a bite of his food. "And no wonder," He sighed.

"I'm gonna go," Skeppy sighed.

"Why?" Dream asked.

"It's not worth arguing about," Skeppy muttered, standing up and heading away.

"Uh... ok then," Dream said. After a moment, Sapnap and Antfrost headed away as well. "Guys?" Dream said, feeling a bit offended now. I was just trying to prove a point. Dream thought.

"Sorry Dream," Bad said. "You can have your cookies though-"

"Keep 'em," Dream muttered, lowering his sandwich. I'm not hungry anyway. He thought.

"Ouch," George muttered.

"They just need to get to know him," Dream said.

"Maybe," George shrugged.

"'Maybe?'" Dream asked, confused.

"You can't change everyone, Dream," George shrugged, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Someone's always going to be afraid of him, and I don't blame them," Dream sighed and nodded. Fine. He thought. Their opinions aren't mine to change.

I think this'll be the last book in this series. I know four is an odd number but I left out a few things in the last book and I feel like there are more questions to be answered. I might do five just to make it a nice number of books, we'll see. Have a great day, my guys :)
