All day Dream's friends had been shooting sharp comments at him, Dream didn't know why they were doing it and he tried to ignore it even though it was hard. Right now he was with George, they were just sitting down outside of Dream's house chatting. Dream hadn't actually seen Sapnap since this morning though and although he was mad at his friends for being mean, he was slightly worried.
"What's wrong, Dream?" George asked.
"I dunno," Dream lied. "Just not feeling it today." Sapnap and the others hadn't bugged him while George was here, he wasn't sure why.
"Technoblade attacked me!" Dream looked up to see Sapnap running toward him. Dream stood up and glared at him.
"No he didn't, you just want him to get kicked out," Dream spat. Sapnap skidded to a halt in front of Dream, taking deep breaths, and shook his head.
"No- he really did," Sapnap wheezed, still out of breath. "He came running out of nowhere and crashed into Skeppy and Bad so I punched him because I thought he was attacking them, and then he insulted me, and I got mad and I tried to punch him again and he grabbed me and called me a daft idiot and threatened to fight me," Sapnap hissed, his eyes wide. After a moment two more people walked toward Dream, Skeppy, and surprisingly Tubbo.
"It's the truth!" Skeppy said once he'd reached them.
"You punched him first," Dream said. "No wonder he did that,"
"He really did grab Sapnap," Tubbo said after a moment. "He grabbed his fist and yanked him close and snarled something at him, then he glared at him for a while and walked away. Everyone's scared, Dream," Tubbo hissed.
"And he dislocated George's arm," Skeppy said.
"No I did," Dream snapped. "On accident,"
"What?" Sapnap gasped. "You did?" George nodded from beside Dream.
"It was an accident, it's fine now," George said. "Techno put it back in place,"
"How could you do that?" Skeppy gasped, staring at Dream.
"It was an accident, George stuck his arm through the window," Dream said.
"Yeah right," Sapnap growled. "Tell you what, I'm gonna go provoke Technoblade-"
"Why would you do that? That's stupid!" Dream said.
"No, listen," Sapnap said. "And someone will be filming in the bushes, if he draws a single drop of blood he has to leave,"
"He won't hurt you," Dream said. "But that's not the point- the point is, that's just messed up. You can't do that to him,"
"Watch me," Sapnap spat, turning around. Dream wanted to go after him but held back, not wanting to get caught up in the trouble. Tubbo sighed and held Dream's gaze for a moment before following Skeppy and Sapnap away.
"Welp," George muttered.
"God," Dream hissed.
"He's gonna get killed," George muttered again.
"No, Techno won't kill him," Dream said.
"He might," George shrugged. Dream decided it wasn't worth arguing and sighed, maybe... just maybe on the small chance Sapnap said just the right things, did just the right things, and no one was around... maybe Technoblade would kill him. There's nothing I can do. Sapnap can do what he likes, it's none of my business.
Technoblade's POV:
Technoblade sighed. People had been giving him the side-eye all day, muttering amongst themselves about his encounter with Sapnap. I shouldn't have lost my cool. He thought. But that guy is just... God. Techno was standing in the center of town, trying to look like he belonged there when really he felt like a dog standing in the center of a group of cats. Techno stiffened and turned around quickly as he heard soft approaching footsteps.
