Reunion ~ Book 4

Chapter 7

Phil's POV:

Phil stared at the television screen, someone had come running in, he had recognized Bad and Skeppy as well as Antfrost. They had been carrying two people Sapnap who was bleeding on the neck from what looked like some sort of dull claw marks, and... Technoblade. What happened?  Phil wondered as Bad's shaky hands tried to hook up a camera to the TV screen. The three had dragged Technoblade into the bedroom of Phil's house and locked him inside, barricading it with a  dresser for good ensure.

"What's going on?" Phil asked, staring at the three frantic guys in confusion. "Why are you in my house- why is Technoblade in my bedroom unconscious?" He demanded.

"Y-you have to see this- you have to," Skeppy stammered, staring wide-eyed at Phil. 

"He- he attacked me-" Sapnap wheezed, gripping his bloody neck. "Unprovoked," 

"That makes no sense..." Phil hissed. "Let me get you something," He added, standing up as he realized how much Sapnap was bleeding.

"I'll get Dream and the others," Antfrost said quickly, darting out the door. Phil opened a drawer and pulled out a bandage and a potion of healing and walked over to Sapnap. 

"Techno wouldn't do that, certainly not unprovoked," Phil muttered as he carefully wrapped the bandage around Sapnap's neck. "I just saw him earlier today... he was fine,"

"He was not fine, it- it was more than aggression," Skeppy hissed, staring at Phil. "He tried to murder Sapnap, and that... the glazed look in his eyes... it was like some sort of zombie!" Skeppy hissed. Phil was confused but before he could ask any questions the door to his house swung open. Serves me right for owning one of the only TVs in this village. He thought with a sigh. Dream was shoved through the door with Chris, George, Tubbo, Tommy, and Wilbur, all looking confused. Antfrost squeezed past them and stared at Bad who had just gotten the camera hooked up.

"Ok- ok watch this-" He started.

"What the hell is going on!" Dream demanded. 

"Technoblade-" Sapnap wheezed. Dream turned toward his friend, his eyes widening at the sight. 

"What did you say to him!" Dream gasped.

"Just watch!" Bad yelled. Dream stopped, turning toward the TV. Bad hardly ever raised his voice, now everyone in the room knew this was serious. Bad clicked a button and a video started playing, at first, it seemed normal and then Sapnap punched Technoblade. Well of course Techno attacked him, Sapnap punched him. Phil thought, feeling strangely relieved. Then Techno stood up, still somehow managing to look calm despite the line of blood trailing his chin and neck. He hissed something again before Sapnap double punched him, sending the pig-masked man to the ground with a thud. Techno stayed on the ground a moment and Phil winced as he saw blood dripping from several wounds on his face. Ouch... Phil thought.

Then Techno stood up and Phil thought for certain this was it. This is where Techno must have tried to murder his assailant. But no. Somehow he was still looking calm, beat up, but calm. Sapnap started apologizing and Techno just stared at him a moment before nodding. 

"It's ok," Techno said. "I'm just glad you're sorry," Phil waited. Then how did Sapnap get that wound? Techno doesn't look mad at all. Sapnap looked relieved for a moment and then something changed. Techno's calm expression faded into a glazed-over look and he stared at Sapnap intensely. What's happening. Phil thought, stiffening. The out of nowhere Techno lunged grabbing Sapnap by the neck and slamming him into a tree. Phil's mouth opened slightly in shock. That makes no sense! He thought as the camera fell to the dust. He could just watch as Antfrost, Bad, and Skeppy all grabbed Techno's arms and tried to pull him off Sapnap. After a moment they managed to haul him away, still snarling and struggling violently, before Skeppy dealt a heavy punch to Techno's temple and the stronger man fell into the dust, most definitely unconscious.
