JARED'S POV

"I've sent her four messages and she hasn't answered me back. It's been a day and absolutely nothing. She hasn't even read the messages." I thought to myself as I checked my phone for the hundredth time. I know that she doesn't want to be around me anymore but she hasn't even bothered to look at the messages, and that worries me.

I decided to drive over to her house and see how she was doing. I don't care if she doesn't talk to me anymore I just want to know she's alright. I would die if something happened to her because of me.

I walked up to the front door and knocked. I waited for a little and nobody opened, so I knocked harder and rang the doorbell.

"Im coming, im coming! Give me a minute." I heard a clearly annoyed voice coming from inside. A tall blonde with a long braid running down her side opened the door, holding a spatula in her hand with an oven mit.

"Hi, I was wondering if Alexandra was home."  I said to her in a confident voice trying to hide my obvious concern.

The girl eyed me up and down through squinted green eyes. "I'm taking that you're Jared, right?" she said pointing at me with the spatula.

I couldn't help but feel flattered that she talked about me to her friend and that she knew who I was. " Yeah", i said extending my hand to shake hers.

She looked at my hand and shook it with the hand that didn't have the mitten. " Im Angie, Alex's best friend." she said giving me a toothy grin with a small gap between her two top teeth. " I would tell her you're here but, I haven't seen her in about a day or so. I don't know where she's at.I feel like she maybe went on one of her famous runaways as she oh so constantly does. She left her phone in her room so its not like I can call her and find out where she's at. To be honest its kind of odd because she always takes her phone, and if she doesn't then she leaves me a note. I'm starting to get worried about her. I mean, i'm gonna give her until tomorrow to come back, and if she doesn't show up then I have no other choice than to call her sister to help me look for her." she said to me with a worried expression on her face as she bit down on her bottom lip.

I couldn't help but start to panic inside. All sorts of different scenarios started to run through my head, all of which she is hurt in some way. Without thinking I just spat out , " Do you mind if I take a look in her room? I mean, because she borrowed my sweater the other day and I uh, wanted to get it." right after I said it I realized that what I just said was extremely stupid.

"Sure, just move her stuff around otherwise she'll get pissed. She doesn't like to have her stuff disorgani.."

I didn't let her finish before I pushed past her and asked where Alexandras room was. She told me it was the one on the far left, so I walked to her room and as soon as I opened the door I was greeted by the smell of Jasmine and warm vanilla. It was clean and organized with cream colored walls. She had pictures pinned on her wall in the shape of a heart above her bed. She had christmas lights surrounding a quote on the opposite wall, cut out from magazine paper reading " Put on some lipstick and pull yourself together."

"She might have it hung up in her closet. If not then she might have washed it and hung it in the laundry. I'll go look." said Angie as she walked up behind me startling the crap out of me.

"Uh, yeah. Thats fine. I'll just look in her closet." I said, waiting for her to leave the room. As soon as she turned around and left I started to look around and try to find something that might tell me where she was. Maybe be a note that Angie had not seen yet, or had missed. Even Angie said that its not like her to just disappear like that.
