The One That Got Away

CHAPTER 5

Summer 2011

"I love you,Lou",Harry said while he touched Louis' cheek,"and i'll love you forever and ever"

"I love more,babycakes."

"No,i love you more"

"When I say I love you more I don't mean I love you more than you love me.I mean I love you more than the bad days that may come,I love you more than any fight we will ever have.I love you more than the distance between us,I love you more than any obstacle that could try and come between us.I love you the most.",Louis smiled,touched Harry's hands and kissed them."This what i mean."

Harry only smiled at him and stood up.He started walking away from where Louis was and suddenly stopped.He turned his head up,looked at the stars and closed his eyes.He began thinking about his life with him.Having their own house,their own bedroom,their own car,a place where they can be themselves.Maybe,getting married and making their own family.Suddenly,he felt Louis' hand on his waist.

"Are you okay?",Louis asked him.

"Better than ever!",he sighed and smirked.

"Good.Let's go in to find the others."

It's around 7am and Louis just opened his eyes.He turned around to give Harry a morning kiss but he wasn't in their bed,and he thought that he might be in the kitchen,making breakfast or in the bathroom,taking a shower.So,he got up on his feet,took a sip of water from his bottle and went to the bathroom.

He opened the door but Harry wasn't there anyways.

"Hazza?",he shouted but he didn't get any response."Harry,where are you?",asked again.

He went to the kitchen but he wasn't there as well.Suddenly,his eyes went immediately to the kitchen table,where a piece of paper was.He sat in one of ther chairs and grabbed the paper.

"Hello,Lou,

If you're reading this letter,probably,you woke up and didn' find me.I've made you coffee.It's in the coffee maker.Anyways,i just wanted you to know how much i love you and how important you are to me.You're the reason i still believe that soulmates are real.That true love exists.That i want to settle down and have a family.And i can't find the right words to thank you for all these.

Sometimes you love someone so much that you need to let them go and sometimes you know deep down in your heart that things need to come to an end.Heartbreak is the worst.Finding light in the darkness seems impossible.

I loved you,love you,will still love you.But,I feel hopeless,and emotionally tired.Just like star-crossed lovers,we can't be together.My heart shatters as I write this and just like that my mind goes blank in this moment because I don't know how to tell you at all

Please forgive me

After countless times,my delicate heart shattered.The pain and the happiness both end up in the same place.

And since I love you,I'm letting you go.

Within every infinity we promised,I never doubted you or our future together.Now,the only thing i want you to do is to remember the plans we made and try to carry them out with someone else.Because,me and you,our thing,wasn't meant to last.

Two words:I'm sorry

One word:Goodbye

Louis was in shook.His mind went blank.He couldn't move.His body went cold and froze.He couldn't consider what just happened.Maybe,he didn't want to understand what actually happened.He lost him.
