The One That Got Away

CHAPTER 12

"Finally!Sit down boys.",Simon said.

They both sat down and they were still holding each others hands.

"So,i came here just to clear up the situation.Lately,i understood how much you...how much you care about each other so i want to make a deal with you.In fact,to rethink about Louis having a girlfriend and Harry be again in the band."

"No way.",Harry shouted as he was not willing to listen to Simon.

"Please,Harry,can you listen to me for a second?",he asked.

"Okay,what?",Harry said nervously.

Louis was remaining silent and thinking of what else would Simon suggest.

"Well,boys,if you accept this deal,Harry will come back to the band,Louis will have a girlfriend and will make all his public appearances with her but you have the chance to share a house again.You will live out of London,in a big house,but you will have to be really careful because if anyone understand that you're together again Harry will return back to where he was and Louis will move again with Eleanor.",Simon said and touched his thighs."Think about it.You have about an hour to.For me,it's worth it."

"Harry can you please come upstairs with me?",Louis finally told.

"Wait baby.Simon,this is to good to be true.What is going on?",Harry said and quickly leaned towards.

"Harry,my dear boy,as i said before,i saw that you really love each other and i-"

"And you what?Changed your mind?You put your ego away?No,Simon,i'm sure this isn't the only thing you have in mind.",Harry said angrily.

"Harry!Come with me please.",Louis said and goggled his eyes naving to him to follow him.

"Pfff,alright."

"They both stood up and Louis hold Harry's hand and walked away.They got upstairs,arrived to the "green room" and got in.Louis sat down on the couch and Harry close to the window.

"Do you believe that this is the only thing he has on his mind?"

"Oh,Harry,i really don't know.And what if he has changed?"

"Simon was,is and will always be an evil son of a bitch.He is the worst person in this fucking world Louis.Can't you see that?"

"Shouting at me won't give an answer to our problem love.Sit down and let's talk like civilised people."

Harry looked at him angrily but finally sat down next to him.Louis,then,touched his hand and kissed it.

"I love you and i will love you no matter what we will decide to do.But,we should really think of this deal.I mean we will have our own house again and have our friends back.You,will come back.Just think about it babycakes."

"Yes but the fact that we can't go outside together hurts me a lot Lou."

"Yes me too,but the most important is that we will have each other.We will be together in our own house,we will watch tv,cook,have showers at night,sleep in a king-sized bed just like it was before.We may not be able to share our love on the outside but we will have us."

"You are right."

"So,do you wanna accept the deal?"

Harry didn't say anything.He looked away and after a few seconds back at Louis.

"Yes."

"Come on.",Louis said and opened the door.

They got downstairs and Simon was waiting them outside in the porch.He hadn't understand that they were there.
Louis cleared his throat and Simon turned his head to their place.

"Oh,you are quickly.So,what did you decided?"

"So,we will sign the contract.",Louis answered bravely.

"Glad to here that boys.Here are the papers.Sign them!",Simon ordered.

"Um,what?",Harry asked as he looked at Louis.

"Uh,i mean,see the terms first and then you can sign.",he said and quickly turned his head to the other side.

Harry got closer to Louis.He was both happy and sad.Suddenly,thoughts of losing him for once again came to his mind but on the other hand he was thinking that they would get a brand new start.A new home,their home.In fact,he didn't really care about it that much.He knew that all of this stuff is not important as having Louis everyday by his side.Because,for Harry,Louis was his home.

"Harry?",Louis said twice."Are you listening?Where are you?"

"Sorry love.Um,yeah,yeah,i'm listening."

"What do you think?"

"Um,I agree with it."

"All of it?Is there any term that you worry about?",he asked,"because if there is,i'm gonna negotiate about it with Salmon".

"Hahahaha no Salmon",he laughed."No everything is okay."

"Good.Sign then?"

"Yeah."

Simon gave them two pens,Louis signed first and then Harry.As soon as they signed,they looked at each other in the eyes,smiled and gave a tight hug.Simon stood up,took the paper and got out of the living room.He understood that he was unwanted there.Harry opened his arms and Louis got inside,giving a tight hug.

"Finally!",Louis sighed into Harry's ear.

"Yes,finally,baby."

Louis got back and looked at him for a second.

"What?",Harry asked.

"Um,you know-"

"What is it darling?Just tell me.Is it something that bothers you about the contract?Tell me and i will do anything."

"I thought,um,before,that you might fall in love with Eleanor.",Harry said worryingly.

"What?",Louis shouted and then started laughing.

"Please,stop laughing."

"I'm laughing because first of all i'm gay and you know gays don't actually are attracted to people of the opposite gender and second of all i would be literally the most stupid and dumbest person if i left you and choose her.",Louis said and grabbed his hand.So,you don't have to worry at all.I'd choose you over and over again.No matter what."

"And what if you-"

"No,i won't",Louis confronted and kissed him.It felt right.Because both Louis and deeply Harry knew that they wouldn't let each other no matter what.Never again.

Simon came back to the living room and said that a black limo would pick then up this afternoon.Eleanor would stay there,Louis and Harry would move  to a new house few miles away from London,in the countryside.

Minutes after this,Simon took the papers and his jacket,warned the boys to be really careful and then left.

Harry was still a little worried but Louis was really happy and excited for moving again together so a smile appeared in his face.

"You make me smile Lou.",Harry shouted and then laughed.

"You are the reason that i smile Haz.",Louis said louder and then fall into his arms."So,do you want to continue what we didn't finish before or ...?"

Harry smirked and answered "yes" as he took his hand and went downstairs.
