I have stayed up until three in the morning
Replaying our conversations in my head
And picturing your smile
And grinning like an idiot
Only to wake up tired and sad
That you aren't there
But then I see you
And I have the strength to get through another day
To go home again
And grin my way into sleep deprivation
So happiness can destroy you
Just like sadness can
The only difference is
