I hear shouts near me.
"Remora!! Remora!! Get your lazy two-teeth but up!" I flutter my eyes open.
"W-wha....?" I look around and realize it's my sister Sabrina. "What do you want? And call me Kendra!"
"Mom wants you to get up and ready for school." She bares her teeth. "And don't boss me around." She huffs and walks out.
What a drag. She's my younger sister but acts otherwise. It's so stupid. "Ugh.... 6:00am?!??" I say in surprise I was awoken this early.
"Remora~!" I hear my mom call me.
"Hold on mother! I'm changing!" I jump out of my bed and change.
Because I'm a vampire I wear dark clothing. I also get headaches in to much sunlight. It's strange, but true.
I change into my clothes and head downstairs. My whole house seems quite gloomy...
"Okay Remora! You will be enrolling in a normal High School!" My mother says excitedly
"Yup that's-" I try to reply when my mom cuts me off with a;
"We need to discuss some important things before we go Remora." She says in all seriousness
"Like...?" I ask curiously.
"You do not show anyone your fangs. Also don't suck any humans blood. Don't tell anyone our secret..." She says nervously.
"Yeah yeah, I got it. I got it." I say sorta annoyed.
"Alright! Well better head out! It's about to start!" She says happy again.
"Right!" I rush out the door.
This is it! This is it! The day I've been waiting for! I can feel the wind in my hair and the smell of humans everywhere! This is going to be fun
