My mom looks at the door.

"Remora, I think you have a visitor."

I look at my mom, "Okay.." I slowly walk to the door. I swing it open.

Oh no it's Dalton....

He smiles, "Hello Kendra. It's me, Dalton, from school."

He's acting nice.... For my mom!!! Oh no!

"Oh, yes, I think I remember you.." I decide to go along with it and I see Dalton smirk. "What do you want from me?" I asked cautiously.

"Oh, nothing really." He says casually.

I frown. "Then why are you here?" I ask impatiently.

"Oh R- I mean Kendra, don't be so rude to the guest." My mom warns me.

I have to keep the slayer thing a secret from mom.... "Yeah, okay. Let me show to the living room..."

I start to walk towards my room instead, I only said that so my mom would believe that I was showing him around. While we are walking a grab a pocket knife that was laying on one of the tables. I make sure that it's not noticable. When we get to my room, I slowly open the door.

"Heh, you're such a fool." Dalton says as he pushes me into my room, and pins me to the ground.

"What are you... doing?!?" I ask a little frantic.

"I'm a vampire slayer. Remember?" He says still pinning me.

I think for a minute then remmeber my pocket knife, because this time he was smart to make it so i can't suck his blood. So before he can process what I'm doing I grab the knife and stab it into his arm. He screams in pain and backs away.

"What's the point in trying to slay me if you can't even get your hands on me for over a minute?" I say as I lick the blood off of the knife.

"Y-You discusting..... CREATURE!" He yells. "I have never seen such a horrible vampire in all my life." He continues cruelly "You have hurt me, but haven't finished me off." He's still grabing is wound.

"I could finish you off if I want." I try to say in my meanest voice. "But I don't think you want me to."

I've never really killed anything. I usually feast on animals.. And I erase the humans memory...

"Fine then." Is all he says as he walks out of the room. Soon following with a loud slam of the door.

My mom runs in "What was that all about?"

I hide the knife, "I don't know." I shrug.

The next day I got ready as usual, but I kept a pocket knife with me. Of course, because he may attack me during school as well.

When I get to class Dalton has wrapping around where I stabbed him. I try talking to a few people, including Dalton, and they ignore me!

After awhile I give up and sit in my seat.

"How are you feeling?" I ask Dalton.

He still ignores me.

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry. Okay? Just please talk to me. You're the only person who will put up with me in this school! So please don't ignore me." I almost beg him. I know it's not right, considering I stabbed him yesterday. But still!

After awhile he give a big sigh and turns to me "It's doing good."

I smile "You can eat lunch with me!" I say as the best suggestion for now.

He grins "Yeah, sounds fun."

"Just don't try to kill me mr.!" I laugh, and he laughs along with me.

"Okay okay I wont." He says still laughing.

"Ms.Kendra, is there something more interesting than my lesson that you oh so kindly want to tell us all?" The teachers voice breaks through my thoughts.

"N-No ma'am.." I get red of embarrassment as a few students giggle.

"Very well" she replies and goes back to her lesson.

Me and Dalton glance at each other and laugh a little.

Looks like my enemy is also my friend
