As I skip into the front entrance of the gate I hear some laughing and murmuring.
"Look at the jolly goth." I hear one say.
Goth? I'm not goth! I don't even wear that kind of make up!
I turn to them and look at them with my cold unnaturally red eye, "Excuse me, but if you say mean things, please say them to my face." I turn to the school again and storm off.
They obviously were shocked. Hopefully I never have to see them again.
When I get to class the teacher has me stand in the front until class starts.
"Okay everyone, this is Remora Kendra Hallford." Gestures to Remora. "Please treat her well."
"Hello. I'm Remora, but call me Kendra." My first name is from the vampires, so that's why I have that name. Unlike my middle name, whereas I have it in case a human asks my name.
The boys woot and cheer, as I am very pretty. It seems they have a liking for me. But, this makes the girls even more upset about my arrival.
I look around and see the girls from before. Oh just wonderful..
"Kendra?" The teacher calls me.
"Yes..?" I look at her.
She looks around for a moment. "Have the seat next to Dalton." She points at a good looking guy who seems to be paying a lot of attention to me.
"Hmm.. Okay." I stride over to the seat and I cover my mouth. His scent is way different than a normal human. I glance over at him.
He only smirks.
