Armin sat quietly in the library he was in, reading a book he had collected back at his college. He had came back home, due to graduating and wanting to get back with most of his friends and family. Family, meaning his close friends.

His parents had died in a horrible accident when he was about six, he was an orphan ever since. But when he turned ten, a new boy came to the orphanage he stayed in. His name was Eren Jeager. He came along with his sister also, her name was mikasa Ackerman.

They had gotten along quite well, and they eventually became best friends.

Armin smiled while looking down at his book, remembering that he was going to see Eren soon. It was exciting, for he had not seen him in person in years.

"Excuse me, sir?" A voice called out. Armin jumped at the voice. It was familiar, and comforting. He looked up from his book, seeing a tall man a few yards away from him, walking closer.

Armin squinted his eyes at the figure, beaming when he figured out who it was.

"The library closed an hour ago, Armin."

Armin jumped up from his seat, speeding up to the man with a bright smile on his face. "Eren!"

He jumped up, throwing his armins around Eren. "I missed you Armin!" Eren exclaimed, hugging Armin back.

"Why didn't you get me earlier you jerk?" Armin laughed out, lightly punching his shoulder.

"Because, you looked really interested in that book you were reading."

Armin smiled, hugging Eren once more. The hug was long, and warm. "I wouldn't expect you to work at a library. It doesn't fit you." Armin laughed.

Eren chuckled, memories of his younger years flowing through his head. Eren was a loud, and reckless little boy. When they were fourteen, he got in a fight with a guy for picking on Armin, he ended up losing, but he was fine with it because he help out his best friend, just a little.

"I can be quiet sometime." Eren said. His arms were still around armins waist, hugging him tightly. "I got this job for you, ya know." He continued, making Armin look up at him with a smile.

"Oh yeah? How come?" He asked.

Eren smiled, letting go of Armin, the feeling of his warmth leaving him made him slightly sad. "I remembered how much you liked to read. And how you used to read to me when we were kids." He said.

Armin beamed at him, his smile growing even wider. "I'm glad you thought of me." Armin said, hugging him once again before letting go. "Well I have to go home, or, back to the hotel. I'm still looking for a house."

Eren smiled again, taking his hair out of the small elastic band that kept it together, sighing. The two walked out of the library, side by side. "I could help you look for one." Eren said, locking up the door to the library entrance.

"Really? That would be awesome!"

Eren lost his breath almost, looking at Armin. His blue eyes glowed and shimmered, his blonde hair illuminated in the moonlight. Armin was so . . . beautiful.
