"Eren?" Armin said, standing up from the couch. It was the day after they went to Armins parents house, and they were both tired out. But Armin still had the energy to do something today.
"Yeah?" Eren responded quickly, moving to look Armin in the eye. He had a slight smile on his face, loving to hear his voice.
"We should go and visit the orphanage. Have you ever thought of doing that?"
The statement shocked eren, he never thought that Armin would want to go back there. But why?
"That sounds great, but what made you want to go?" Eren said, his face conjuring into an expression of confusion, not understanding completely why this was apart of armins desires.
"It's just. . .there are so many memories there." Armin looked down with pink cheeks and a smile. "So many memories of me you and mikasa, we had so much fun, all the time."
Armin put his head up when he realized he talked about mikasa. "Where is she? She can come with us!"
Eren smiled, giggling afterwards. He quickly grabbed his phone, clicking on his sisters contact.
Ring.
Ring
"Hello-"
"Mikasa, Mikasa! Armin said that we should all go to our orphanage! You don't have track today so you can come right?" Erens loud voice boomed over the phone. Armin was leaned in close to the phone so he could hear what she was saying.
She giggled softly. "Yeah I don't. I'll be over at yours in about ten." She said.
"Ok, bye mika!"
"Babye!"
Armin and eren said good bye to mikasa and hung up the phone.
"Ah, I'm so excited! I wonder if all the old workers are still there. Maybe we can stay and help for a while, I'm definitely sure they'll remember us. Especially you." Armin laughed.
"Eren, remember when we were sneaking to go and get books from the library? And then you knocked a whole shelf down? You were in so much trouble!"
The two had laughed wholeheartedly, a blush coming upon their cheeks.
Eren looked up at Armin. His cheeks and nose were red and he had small tears in his eyes. His smile grew bigger each time he laughed.
Eren blushed, eyes widening. He didn't know why he had those moments. There were just moments where he found Armin to be the most beautiful being on earth. And he didn't know why.
Maybe because they're best friends, or maybe Armins just superior to everyone else in his vision. Maybe he liked Armin in a way a best friend shouldn't.
But eren couldn't possibly like Armin. He couldn't like his best friend. So why did he feel this way around him? Why did his stomach get all bubbly and his face got red and hot? It always happens every time there together.
Oh how eren wished he could figure out what it was in his mind that told him to dedicate everything to Armin.
Maybe it's because they've been friends since they were children. He doesn't know, and it drains him trying to figure out.
But hopefully, one day he'll figure out.
