The library computers were no help when looking for houses. The bad internet made it hard to find good websites, and the bad websites only showed small dirty apartments.
Eren wouldn't want to get Armin a bad place to live. He wanted Armin to live in peace. He also wanted Armin to be able to have his own space.
His first search was a big house that could fit ten or more people. But he remembered what Armin would say about that. Something along the lines of "I don't need that much space."
But he ended up finding nothing, so he went back to his job of stocking up books in the right places.
To be honest, Eren liked his job at the library. It reminded him of his childhood with Armin and mikasa. How Armin would read to the two of them until they went to sleep.
Armin. Armin was all eren could ever think about. He didn't know why, but he figured it was because he cared a lot for his friend.
Armin was such a sweet guy, and he was really nice.
When the two first met, he was the sweetest person at the orphanage.
Putting up the books reminds him of how the workers of the orphanage told Armin to put the books away and go to sleep. But then the two snuck out in the library and gathered as many books as they pleased, getting scolded the next day.
It was nice when they were children. No worries, no bills to pay, just sweet innocence to enjoy.
Thinking about all of this gave eren an idea. The idea of them being together made him wonder if they could be roommates.
And that's what he settled on.
He went around the corner to the storage office and got his phone out to call Armin.
"Hello? Hey eren." Armin's soft voice spoke through the phone, eren smiled at it.
"Hey so you know how you're looking for a house?" Eren asked him, excitement in his voice.
"Yes, I'm actually looking right now." He giggled at the end of his sentence.
"Well," eren started off. "I was thinking about our childhood and how we used to be together all the time. So why don't we live together?"
It took Armin a minute to process the question, and when he did he was a giggling mess. "I wanted to ask you that before!" He said.
"But I didn't wanna bother you.."
Eren pursed his lips, scrunching his eyebrows. "Why would you bother me?" He asked.
Armin said nothing, honestly not knowing how he could bother eren. "I don't know.. but I guess I have a place to stay now!"
