Thinking again

While in the orphanage, eren thought to himself again and again and again.

Why did Armin make him feel like this? Armin is just his best friend, nothing more. It's not like armins his girlfriend.

Thinking about that, eren thought that even if Armin was a girl, it wouldn't change anything. They'd still be friends.

Thoughts went on and on, and soon thoughts about Armin being a girl turned into 'do I even like girls?'

Eren didn't know. And he really didn't feel like trying to figure it out. Maybe he'll ask Armin about it. Armin always knows the answer to every question he asks. Even personal questions, much like the one he has now.

He loves that about armin. He always knows what to say.

"Hey you!"

Eren snapped out of his thoughts, looking around for a moment, then down as he felt a tug on his pant leg.

"Hey there!" Eren told the little kid. This was one of the kids Armin was talking to earlier. He had brown hair and blue-green eyes. There was a glint in his eye, showing determination, just like eren.

"I'm Eden! You seemed cool so I wanted to talk to you. That blonde haired chick was getting boring." The boy said. Eren had laughed, for the small boy had used the word 'chick' when describing Armin.

"You know that's a guy, right?" Eren told the kid, making his eyes widen.

"What?? Woah I thought he was a girl!!" The boy had put his hands on his head, laughing.

"Yeah when I was a kid, I did too. Honestly," eren looked at the kid. "I had a crush on him before I knew."

Eden and eren both laughed together. Eden had leaned his head onto erens arm while clutching his stoumach from laughing so hard.

"If we're being honest here..I kinda have a crush on my friend too! His name is Adam! I told my sister about it and she told me to tell him! Can you believe it! Why would I do that!"

Eren nodded his head at the kid with a "mhmm" indicating that he was into the kids drama.

"But then I've been thinking about it. Why not! I'm handsome and cool! There's no way he doesn't like me too." The boy put on a face of bravery.

Eren was happy to see that kids were just being kids here. They didn't judge anyone or anything. They were all at peace.

"Well I think you should. It would be better for both of you." Eren said.

"I'm gonna tell him right now!"

"Well not this soon!"

Armin looked over to eren, who was with the small kid who went by Eden.

He had sat across the room in a cushioned chair, a small kid on his lap. The kids name was Adam. Adam was reading a book to Armin. And armin was happy that the boy could read like this.

"Hey what are you staring at? Are you looking at my friend over there? That's Eden! He's really cool." The kid said to armin. "Who's the other one?"

"That's my friend, eren." Armin was still looking over at the two.

Is he talking about crushes to that kid? Ha, how cute.
