Episode 2: Quirk Assessment

"Yo. I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog. Let's catch you up to speed! Last time, I totally blew through the entrance exam with the highest score! I also made a new friend, Izuku Midoriya. He might not seem like much, but he's got a crazy powerful quirk that gives him super strength! Now, it's our first day at UA High School! And we're ready for whatever comes our way!"

After a few days of waiting, the first day of classes has finally arrived. Sonic walks up to the building entrance and then to his assigned classroom; Class 1-A.

Sonic: Well, this is it.

As he's about to enter, he sees Deku walk up behind him.

Sonic: Yo, Izuku! Long time no see! You got in too! Congrats!

Deku: O-Oh! Hi Sonic! Yeah. Looks like we're in the same class.

Sonic: Sure looks that way. *he smirks, teasing him* You nervous?

Deku: A-A little... but I'm still going in! I was good enough to get in, no point in worrying about showing my face here now!

Sonic: That's the spirit! Besides, I'm sure the folks here are cool.

As they walk in, they are surprised to see 2 students already bickering; a tall blue-haired boy with glasses and another blonde spiky-haired kid. Sonic just watches in confusion while Deku internally panics.

Deku: *to himself* Just my luck.

Deku then meets up with Uraraka and Iida again. Sonic then hears running footsteps behind him as a voice calls out to him.

Music Insert:

Mina: Hey Sooooooooniiiiiiiiiiic!!!

Sonic: Oh no. I'd recognize that voice anywhere- AH!

Just then a pink girl with fluffy hair and horns tackles him to the ground.

Mina: Gotcha! My darling Sonic!

Sonic: Ugh, Mina! Get off of me!

Mina: No way! You're not getting away from me this time!

Sonic: What're you even doing here?

Mina: What's that supposed to mean? I got accepted just the same as you! Hmph!

Just then a man in a sleeping bag speaks to the group.

Aizawa: If you're just here to make friends then you can pack your things and leave.

They all turn around to see their homeroom teacher, not entirely sure of what exactly they're looking at.

Sonic: *whispers* Um...who or what is that?

Aizawa: This is the hero course. I'm Mr. Aizawa and I'll be your homeroom teacher. Nice to meet all of you.

The entire class then takes their seats as Aizawa explains how they'll be doing a quirk assessment test instead of going to orientation. Some of the students groan but they all eventually make their way to the training field. Aizawa explains how they'll all be training to become pros for the next 3 years and won't have time to laze around so he tells them to show him what they've got.

Aizawa: We'll be doing a series of trials to see where each of you stands as of now. Each trial you complete earns you a spot on the leaderboard. The one who falls in the last place... will be expelled.
