Episode 7: Even Further Beyond

LET'S CATCH YOU UP TO SPEED...

"Yo. I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog. A student at UA, on my journey toward becoming a hero. Last time, my buddy Izuku and I helped All Might take down that big bird-looking villain and save everyone! It was rough, but together we were able to pull through. And it looks like we both might have gotten some new powers... I wonder what this is... Guess I'll find out soon enough!"

A few days have gone by since the assault on the USJ. It took some time but repairs were done and everyone began to recover from what had happened. Sonic is running to school thinking to himself.

Sonic: Nice of the teachers to give us some time off, but I can't wait to get started on the next part of my training. The UA Sports Festival... sounds like I can finally go all out here! My next step toward becoming a pro hero!

Sonic then races to the campus where he is surprised to see so many students gathered outside the building.

Sonic: Hey, what's going on? Was there another evac?

Suddenly one of the students turns around and shouts.

Student 1: Hey! There he is!

They all start surrounding Sonic and bombarding him with questions.

Sonic: What's the big idea?! Give a guy a little personal space, will ya?!

Student 1: Did you really fight alongside All Might? What was he like?

Student 2: How fast can you go?

Student 3: Were you scared to face all of those villains?

They keep pressing him until a voice calls out and grabs their attention.

Bakugou: MOVE THE HELL OUTTA MY WAY YOU EXTRAS!

Intimidated by Bakugou, they all clear the area.

Iida: You can't go around calling people extras just because you don't know them!

Bakugou: Tch, whatever.

Sonic: Uh, thanks?

Bakugou: Shut up, I only did that so I could get through. I'm still gonna crush you, you little blue rat.

Sonic: Take a good look pal, I'm a Hedgehog.

Bakugou: Think I give a damn?! *he walks away*

Sonic: That guy has some issues. Can't wait to dust him at the festival.

From afar, another student watches Sonic but doesn't go up to speak with him. As the day goes on, Sonic notices that the other students keep staring at him. It goes on the whole day until homeroom.

Sonic: Hey, either you guys know what's up with everyone today?

Kirishima: Whaddya mean?

Sonic: Everyone keeps staring at me. Is there something on my face? Am I wearing my uniform backward or something?

Kaminari: Oh dude you don't know? You and Midoriya over there are kind of big-shot celebrities now! Everyone heard about your big fight with All Might and how you took on all those villains.

Sonic: Seriously?

Jiro: Welcome to the big leagues dude.

Aizawa: Alright everyone, settle down. I know you all had a break and just got back but we've got something important to discuss. As many of you know, our school's annual Sports Festival is coming up soon. I expect all of you to work hard in order to prepare for this. However, do not let your training get in the way of normal classes. That's all. Now don't wake me up.
