Chapter twenty two

Your Pov

Training with Bakugo had been a lot more helpful than you had originally thought. You even decided to train with Midoriya a couple times and he had given you some feedback on how to improve your quirk. What freaked you out at first was the fact that he was right. After tons of training the two weeks had flown by meaning the sports festival was the very next day. You promised yourself to take today and relax as you needed to be well rested. It would definitely be a change as in the mornings you set an alarm to wake up before anyone else, take a run and make a protein based meal and go to school. Only to send extra time in the gym when you can. After school you went back to the gym and sparred with the bakusqaud. After that you ate and relaxed a small bit to only go and train with Bakugo or Midoriya at the end of the day then heading to bed early. This day you had let yourself sleep in as the school day was canceled for the festival tomorrow. After lazily rolling out of bed you had decided to just change into comfy clothing. As you had been changing you noticed that you had a bunch of defined muscles, not Bakugo defined but definitely Deku defined. You had abs now as well as muscle tones and you definitely had upper body strength. You changed into a yellow hoodie and some black leggings before walking into the kitchen and making a cup of hot chocolate. You made your way to the common room living space and sat down onto the couch and turned the tv on to watch one of your shows. Surprisingly the common room was empty as most people were last minute training or with family before the sports festival. Well that's what you thought before you felt the dip suddenly. You look over to see Denki with a goofy smile on his face.

"Yo! (y/n) love the color!" He exclaimed as he spread himself out onto the couch next to you. You chuckle at his statement.

"Thanks Denki. Aren't you and Shinso training together today?" You raised an eyebrow at him before he leaned his head back onto the back of the couch before continuing.

"We trained late last night and early this morning. I need to charge up or I'm going to shortcericet before tomorrow even starts." You nod your head understanding why he had stopped training. "What about you (y/n)? I mean I'm not complaining that your not you have been training a lot lately." Denki said. You shrugged your shoulders.

"I just needed a break so i'm not completely exhausted tomorrow. I have no clue how Bakugo and Midoriya are going to make it through without passing out." Denki nodded his head in thought before shrugging it off and bringing his attention on to the tv.

"So what are you watching (y/n)?" He said as he moved to lay his head in your lap eyes focused onto the tv. Already used to his clingy behavior as you and him have hung out a lot as he was dating your brother. Denki and Sero for that matter had slowly become your two closest friends.

"Well I was going to rewatch 'Demon Slayer' before the new movie comes out. Wanna watch it? We don't have to." Denki shook his head not really knowing what demon slayer is.

"I've never heard of it but I'm down to watch! It sounds cool!" Denki smiled at you. You quickly selected the tv show and as the adds ran you texted the group chat.

Messages

Sticker: Whoever is done with training me and Kami are watching Demon Slayer in the common room if anyone wants to join.

Tape space: Hell yeah i'll be down in a minute.

AlianQueen: I'm bringing the popcorn!

TheRock: I'll buy some snakes for it! I'm currently at the gas station anyways.

BrainWasher: I'll be there

Sticker: See you in a bit :)

You exited out of the group chat and pulled out Bakugo's number sending a quick text to him. Knowing he doesn't look at the group chat often.

Sticker: Hey, Watching Demon Slayer in the common room. If you decide to finish training early come and watch it with us! :)

Explosive Pomeranian: *Left on seen*

You exit out of messages and huff at the lack of response. Denki reading the conversation off your phone smirked as you individually texted Bakugo. You looked down at him noticing his smirk.

"You like Bakubro!" he exclaimed. You smack the top of his head before rolling your eyes and huffing again.

"I do not" Denki giggled before pausing the show waiting for the rest of the group. Sure enough the couch was full and there had been plenty of blankets and pillows laying on the floor. Bringing Popcorn drinks and tons of extra snakes. It was quite funny how it was just you and Denki at first and now the whole squad was there as well, or well mostly everyone Bakugo still hasn't shown up. You had given up waiting on him as everyone else was ready to start the show and he most likely was going to do extra training.

The show was going well and the people who hadn't seen Demon Slayer had gotten extremely invested in the show. You laughed at the confusion some of them had after the second episode. You also had noticed the way everyone had been sitting. Tsu had somehow shown up and was cuddled up to Mina on the floor. Next to them had Kiri and Sero the two had been sitting crisscross applesauce leaning forward not taking their eyes off the tv screen. Denki had been sitting in Shinso's lap but still somehow had his legs in yours. You had been leaning up against Shinso him having his arm around you not really aware of it. Lastly Jiro and Ojiro had also somehow shown up and were having a friendly conversation debating and theorizing what was going to happen next in the show. What you didn't notice was a certain Blond quietly walking in the common room and up the stairs to take a quick shower.

You had been half way through the third episode when you had leaned more into Shinso resting your head onto his shoulder. Comfortably watching the tv show. This is when someone walked down the stairs and into the common room freshly out of the shower. He had noticed you on the couch all cuddled up to Shinso when he grunted. He walked up to the couch in front of you before gently picking you up and pulling you into his lap. At first you were excited that your explosive friend had decided to show up but your thoughts had been cut off as he picked you up. Making your face flush red. Stunted and not really sure what to do, you just sit there trying to calm yourself down. Denki and Shinso both had witnessed what had happened as the rest of the group remained completely oblivious. Denki had a huge smirk on his face and Shinso had a smile before winking at you. Both refusing to help you and continue watching the show. Bakugo had realized that you had been tense and wrapped his arms and legs around you in a protective manner. Eventually you had calmed down and relaxed in his embrace and leaned against his chest. You had a soft smile constant on your face happy with your situation. You had continued to watch 'Demon Slayer' before slowly falling asleep in Bakugo's arms.
