~Cartiér's POV~

It Was Around 10:00 A.m. When I Woke Up. Hakeem's Arms Were Still Wrapped Around Me. It Was So Comfortable. That Is Until I Checked My Phone. I Had 10 Missed Calls From My Sisters & Jamal. I Got Up And Got Dressed.

"Baby Where You Going?" Hakeem Asked Sitting Up On The Edge Of The Bed.

I Didn't Mean To Wake Him Up. And It Suprised Me That He Didn't Try To Play Me After Last Night.

"I Have To Go Back To My House And Get Dressed. I Have A Meeting With Your Dad And Cookie" I Said

"Come Here" He Said Pulling Me Onto His Lap,"Look I Know I Have A Girl But I Wanna Keep Doing This. Tianna And Me Is Really Just For Publicity Anyways. But Us.. We Can Be Something Real" Hakeem Said Grabbing Me And Kissing Me.

"Okay Hakeem. But I Really Have To Go" I Said Grabbing My Things.

It's Not That I Didn't Like Hakeem. I Just Didn't Want To Complicate Things. We Were Cool And The Sex Was Good. Isn't That Enough?

I Walked In The Door To My House To Find Everybody In The Kitchen Eating Food That I Didn't Even Know We Had.

"Where Were You At?" Megan Asked Me.

"I Wanted To Walk Around And Get To Know My New Neighborhood" I Lied.

"Oh, Well Get Dressed Because You And Mal Are Supposed To Meet Cookie For Lunch Before Your Meeting With Lucious" She Said.

I Took Another Shower Before Getting Dressed, I Threw On Some Joggers And Auh Shirt. It Was A Little Rainy And Cold.

"Come On Mal" I Said As We Left My Apartment.

The Taxi Stopped Across The Street From The Diner That Cookie Was In.

It Was Hella Tabloids And Press Outside. I Really Wasn't Used To This. It Was Hella Puddles On The Busy Street That Me And Jamal Were Crossing So He Grabbed My Hand To Help Me Get Through Them. Once We Crossed The Street The Tabloids Were Making Accusations Of Me & Jamal Being Together. And Asked Us Questions About Cookie. It Was All Too Much. Jamal Wrapped His Arm Around Me And Pulled Me Close So We Could Squeeze Through The Press And Get Into The Diner To Have Our Business Lunch With Cookie.

~Hakeem's POV~

After Cartiér Left I Went To Take A Shower And Think About The Night Before. That Had To Be The Best Sex I've Ever Had. It Was Like We Had This Sort Of Connection. I Really Can't Explain It. Even Though I Barely Know Her She Really Got Me Thinking About Dropping Tianna & Camilla.

My Dad Called And Told Me He Wanted Me To Come To The Meeting To Hear Cartiér's New Song. I Guess He Wants Us To Work Closely Together. But I Feel Like He Has Something Up His Sleeve.

I Love My Dad And I Have A Lot Of Respect For Him, But He Can Be Very Sneaky And Irrational. I Don't Understand Why He Just Can't Accept The Fact That Jamal Is Gay. It's 2015, Nobody Cares About Sexuality Anymore. My Dad Is Just So Old School.

I Caught A Taxi To The Empire Building. Everybody Was Still In A Rush To Have Everything Prepared For Leviticus.

I Entered The Conference Room. Cartiér Was Talking You Cookie. Telling Her How She Couldn't Sit Down. It Was So Funny Because Only Me & Her No Why.

"Hakeem" My Father Said Standing Up And Giving Me A Hug. "Hakeem You Met Cartiér Right?" My Father Said

"Yes. But We Haven't Properly Been Introduced" I Said Taking Her Hand And Kissing It.

"Hello Hakeem" She Said In A Low Sexy Voice That Made Me Wanna Start A Round 2 Of Last Night.

I Quickly Took A Seat Before Anybody Suspected Anything.

"Well Cartiér, Tell Us About This Song" My Father Said.

"This Song Is Called When It Rains. It's A Really Symbolic Song. But Honestly When You Break It Down It's About Sex. Make Up Sex. Sex With An Ex. It's Just A Really Sensual Song" She Said Walking Over To The Stereo And Putting In The Track.

I Knew The Girl Was Talented But This Was Amazing. And The Beat Was The Shit. But She Was Right This Song Was Very Sensual. And The Visuals Of Last Night Were In My Mind. Every Minute I Spend With This Girl She Gets More Appealing To Me.

After The Song Ends Everybody Started Clapping.

"That Was Amazing Cartiér" My Father Spoke Up.

"Thank You Hakeem" she Said Blushing.

"Well It's Settled. Cartiér Will Be Performing At Leviticus Tonight.

After Everybody Left The Conference Room I Grabbed Cartiér And Took Her Into An Empty Room.

"Hakeem We Can't Do It In Here" She Said Pushing Me Away.

"Come On Baby" I Said Grabbing Her Hand

I Didn't Know What To Say Frfr

"Look Hakeem, You Have Tianna And I Really Don't Wanna Mess That Up. And I Don't Wanna Get Played. I Don't Have Time To Be Distracted. I Have A Daughter To Take Care Of"

I Never Knew She Had A Daughter. But For Some Reason That Made Her Even More Attractive To Me.

"Look, I Know You Don't Wanna Get Involved With Me Because You Think Imma Play You. And I Don't Blame You. I Don't Have The Best Reputation. But, I'm Serious About You Ma." I Said Pulling Her To Me And Kissing Her Lips Softly.

We Started Kissing More Passionately. I Grabbed Her And Sat Her On The Desk. Then We Started Messing Around On Somebody's Work Desk.

After I Left Cartiér I Stopped My Dad's House. We Still Needed To Discuss Who Was Gonna Back Me At My Performance At The Leviticus Opening Since He Dropped Kid FoFo.

"Hakeem You Don't Need Anybody To Back You Up. You Are Talented By Yourself" My Dad Said

"I Know But I Haven't Opened Up Anywhere Like This Dad"

"Hakeem If You Can't Open Up At Leviticus Then There's No Need For You To Keep Making Music. Or Even Pursue A Music Career" My Dad Said Walking Me To The Door.

He Always Put Pressure On Me To Be The Best. I Hated It. He Was Always Putting Me.Against Jamal Like He Wasn't My Brother.

I Sent A Text To The Only Person Who Could Possibly Help Me. Leviticus Would Be Opening In 7 Hours And I Needed A Plan.
