So far everything seemed to be going well with the stranger.
As Avocato stepped out of the car he examined the house before him, it was big and surrounded by some spikes for defences- he was sure the house didn't come like this so Gary certainly made a good decision to protect the house.Glancing at the blond as picked his own bag up and opened the over complicated gates, Avocato examined the human.
Gary wore an old looking pilot's jacket with two orange patches on the shoulders, the brown leather wearing off at the cuffs of the sleeves. His hair was messy but in a way that suited the man, it went well with his dorky personality. The eyes...they were surprisingly bright, a glint of childish fun in then despite the current apocalyptic circumstances. Gary seemed to be carrying an old school backpack, it was a dirty red with a bat hanging out from the side, easy to grab in case he needs to defend himself- smart, in a way...but Avocato couldn't help but wonder why have a bat when he could just grab a gun."Mi casa es tu casa!" Gary cheerfully opened the door to the mansion which Avocato was sure there was no way it was originally his as right at the entrance there were family photos with Gary's faces glued to all the faces.
"I have no idea what that means" Avocato stepped inside, noting that everything seemed surprisingly clean
"Neither do I!" Gary locked the door with a laugh "Come! I'll show you to your room! I've prepared guests' rooms because I just knew this day would come!"
"Thanks, hope you don't mind me staying here for the night" Avocato sighed, removing his muddy boots as he was dirty in the floor
"For the night?" Gary span around looking almost heart broken "Stay forever dude! We can have bro time together! Just two hombre surviving the end of the world" he said dramatically, wrapping his arm around Avocato's neck
"First of all-" Avocato grabbed his hand, twisting it behind his back before slamming him against the wall "we don't know each other. You could be some kind of psychopath- which I think you are by the way- and I am not risking it" he said
"Oh! Ow!" Gary cringed, his face being smudged against the white walls "Haha! I like your style cowboy-catman!" He chuckled, his free hand trying to reach Avocato to pat him.
The ventraxian only rolled his eyes and let go with a huff- Gary seemed surprisingly harmless despite his psycho ways
"Second-" Avocato continued, watching Gary sigh in relief, massaging his shoulder with a pout "I'm busy, I need to find my son"
"You have a son?" Gary blinked in surprise
"Is that a problem?" Avocato tilted his head up slightly, glaring down at Gary
"No way! I can totts help you! I can even try find a cowboy hat so we match!" Gary offered, clapping his hands excitedly "we could be known as... GaryCato- the cowboy boys!" He posed
"Nonesense" Avocato brushed him off, walking down the hall that Gary was previously guiding him to
"What? Why not!" Gary ran after, climbing the stairs "It would be cool!" He grinned, standing at the top with his hands on his hips "then after we find your boy we can all come live here!"
"Why wpuld you even offer to help?" Avocato looked up at him, the lights behind him making him seem to shine even brighter than he already did- which was no human ability and weirded out the vebtraxian a LOT.
"I am incredibly lonely!" Gary said that almost too proudly "come on!" He grabbed Avocato's arm and started dragging him towards his room.
All the doors were white and clean except for one that had "Captain Gary" written on it along with some stickers on it.
