'Huh? Where I am I?' I looked around. All I saw were statues, all just staring at me. 'What am I doing here? Why am I here? What is this place?' That's all I could think about. As I looked around, I noticed the statues getting closer every time I moved my eyes off them. Soon enough, they were to the point where they could touch me. My eyes started to water. I didn't know what was happening. The eyes of the statues started to bleed and set on fire, I cried even more, trying to move around and get away. Soon enough I heard a voice. "Who is that? Leave me alone!!" A face appeared in the sky. "It's your father, Akou. Did you miss me?" 'No! No! No!!' I looked up shaking my head as tears ran down my face, the statues got closer and started to box me in. "No!!!!" I woke up from the terrible dream as tears were running down my face. I was in my bed. The last thing I could remember was fighting with Yomo for some reason. Was there something that happened after? I wiped the tears off my face and took off the covers. I opened the window and took off my shirt. I was traumatized by that dream. I never wanted to see my dad again. He was horrible. I heard a door
Open moments later, "how was training?" 'Huh?' I turned around and saw the manager. "Oh... It was fine." I walked out of the room holding my shirt and going down to the café. 'Im staying home today.' Later that night I had another training session with Yomo. Again, leaving bloody and hurt. But this time, it was different. I had a strange feeling, as if someone were watching me. After my body healed I decided to go see Yuei in the hospital. "Room B21" I went to the elevator and went to the room number I was given. When I walked in Yuei was all alone just staring at the ceiling. As soon as I opened the door he looked straight at me. "Akou?" He said in a shocked tone as his eyes widened seeing me walk in. "What are you doing here?!" He seemed scared, but I wouldn't blame him. After all, I am a ghoul aren't I. "I just wanted to see how you were doing.." "You're a ghoul aren't you?" He looked at me. I didn't want to answer but I had too. "Yea... You can't let anyone know about this... Okay?" "He looked at me. "It doesn't matter what you are man... You're my best friend an that's that!" "Huh?!" I looked at him and my eyes widened. "What do mean?" "It doesn't matter what you are... A dog, a cat, a alligator, a hippo, a snake, a lizard, a spider, or even a ghoul. You're my best friend and I won't leave your side." "Yuei..." Tears ran down my face as I stared at him. I hugged him then ran out the room. As I was walking home, I saw someone on the rooftops. I looked up at them and kept walking. Later they came down, following me. I started to walk faster and faster and faster, until they caught up with me. He grabbed onto my shoulder and threw me back into a tree. "G-gahh!!" I closed my eyes while trying to stand up. He had a mask on so I couldn't see who he was. As soon as I got up i ran towards him, initiating a fight. I ripped him of his mask. I gasped in fear as tears once again ran down my eyes. "Dad?" I looked at him dropping the mask. "Miss me?"
