"Our troops are in position." Po said proudly standing next to his father. Everything looked clearer from where he stood. The long hilly plains had proven to be treacherous, but now with a large enough force, Po was confident in conquering the minor geographical difficulties he has encountered since arriving on Drall. His father was sitting next to him in what seemed to be a brand new repulsor chair he was now beginning to envy. His legs were sore and aching from the problematic crash he had to endure before things could fall into place the way they had.
Not seeing blaster fire and explosions Po turned to his father and said, "Looks like they may have surrendered."
"Not likely and I will assume they will fight to the death now that they know a bigger force is coming to destroy them. It's of no concern my son soon they will run out of rations and supplies forcing them to surrender. Besides the damaged Republic cruiser floating helplessly in space, not one ship has arrived to help them. When the inevitable happens we will swiftly finish them off." Neg boasted.
Po nodded his agreement and turned towards the battlefield wondering if his battle droids had made contact yet. "Where are the explosions and screams!?" He said aloud.
"Don't worry son their coming and I can guarantee all of our struggles will be a thing of the past once we hear the desperate pleas for mercy. Just sit back and try to relax. It is time for us to enslave these pathetic beings or make sure none of them live to tell anyone else about this." Po sat down waiting for the battle to begin. This is what he had prepared for and now it was time to win over General Grievous.
"The Neimoidian's are on the move and it looks like they got some reinforcements." Said Dan as he looked through a pair of electrobinoculars high above the facility. Teg stood next to him staring into the distant horizon ignoring the young pilot. "I have to admit that up here this land looks beautiful and peaceful." Teg said admiring the landscape.
Dan looked down at the young Jedi and was surprised by his observation of the landscape. "You're kidding right. There is nothing beautiful about an army of marching droids coming to exterminate you and all your friends!"
The Jedi smiled and replied, "You have to look beyond the danger that's coming towards us Dan. Focus on what you are fighting for, not who you're fighting." Teg responded sounding like a wise old hermit.
"Right, so I'll definitely remember that when those droids come plowing through our defenses." Dan said sarcastically.
The hills around them would make the Separatist attack very difficult, but not impossible. Dan was feeling a little more confident now that the Republic was backing them up and not to mention two Jedi knights. He smiled at the thought of Teg taking out several enemy tanks. All had changed with both sides receiving reinforcements. But one thing stayed the same, both sides were still fighting for the same planet.
In his eyes Drall was just a wasteland run by rodents who have yet to invent any type of technological advancements. Fighting for it seemed pointless at times, but he knew his father was close to the Drallians who had accepted him building on their land, and would not stop until their planet was left alone. He knew the Drallians would have no choice but to continue to fight for their land.
"Don't worry my friend, my master has a brilliant plan. I just hope it can be executed in time. These Neimoidians don't seem to be taking any chances and are moving in fast. Let's get back down there and let them know what we've seen." Teg said as he turned around and made his way down the hill.
Dan followed soon after but not until he looked out into the distance once more. This time he looked away from the enemy and at the horizon his Jedi friend was admiring moments earlier.
