Thanksgiving Parties and Revelations

"Aelin it's great to see you here ".  Ricky then went on his way and I was just dumbfounded. I decided to just ignore it and mingle if people noticed I'm pregnant they notice I was bound to start showing sooner or later.

I'm glad Delilah is here with Big Red though so I'm not totally alone since she does work with Kourtney in the costume department. I saw them and they seem pretty into their conversation. I then saw someone else and I realized it was EJ and I gave him a smile and a little wave. He then walked over towards me. We had become quite close but in like a brother - sister type way. "So, how'd it go with Bowen". I sighed and he looked concerned "That bad huh ?" I shook my head "I didn't get a chance to tell him yet EJ and even if I did I would get scared". "Look Bowen would be stupid to abandon you and your kid in fact it's probably gonna be a great kid." I smiled a small smile "Thanks EJ truly that means a lot." He laughed "Well at least I'm a shoe in to be their godfather ". I gave him a fake threatening look "Don't push it Caswell". Then I said goodbye and I decided to sit down because I got tired walking this baby was much work and I cannot wait to have it out of me.

Then I saw Ricky and Gina chatting and saw him wearing that she no doubt made him and felt sad. Yes, I feel bad for ignoring him and what not but he did not have to openly flirt with her like that especially in front of me.

I guess he's basically given up on trying to win Nini over and get back together but honestly being at this party now is suffocating but then people started to come into the living area. Where I was sitting down and I felt as if I couldn't leave now since it would be rude to Ashlyn and EJ. So, I decided to ignore it and play the game that the group wanted to start which was an impression game I would guess. Then Ashlyn asked if I would like to play but I politely declined and Ricky had an indifferent look on his face.

I just decided to observe and watch because too much activity would be bad for the baby. Then the game stops because Gina gets a phone call that she seems pretty upset about, just when she runs out of the room to leave Ricky quickly follows after her and I'm left disappointed. He will always choose anyone else but me.

Then as if on cue Ashlyn says that game should come to a close for tonight as well as the party and for that I'm grateful. I grab all my stuff to leave but then I see EJ has entered the room. " I guess since you are pregnant and I would hate if you slipped on ice and got hurt that the most gentleman thing, to do is walk you home" I look at him in surprise but gratefulness too. "Why thank you good sir Mr. Caswell I say it's positivity dreadful on this November night " I say in a fake British accent that's horrible. Then he walks in front of me and holds the door like a gentleman. "I take it you didn't get to talk to Bowen about you being pregnant with his child yet ?" I gave him a small laugh as we walked. "Nah, I didn't he got a phone call that upset him, plus he came here with Gina and she made him a hat and they were all cute and flirty with each other. He also ran after her and he left with her so I literally couldn't tell him no matter how much I tried." EJ stopped and turned to me and gave me a sympathetic smile. "Well, I hope you get a chance to because he's a jerk for ignoring you all night" I laughed at that statement. "Thanks Caswell your a good friend".

"So, are you Aelin I just hate seeing you upset I think you deserve better than him" I gave him a small smile. "I wish that were true I thought he had only eyes for me til Nini came to town and everything changed since then", "The thing is I wouldn't trade those memories for anything in the world especially that night". "I wish I had your optimism I truly do Aelin and I'm trying to right the wrongs in my life and have a clean fresh slate". I gave him a small smile again and we stopped I had reached my house. "I believe anyone can change EJ even a guy like you". He gave me a smile and a wave and I waved back and smiled and turned around and walked up to my front door of my house to go to sleep and hopefully confront Ricky tomorrow.

So I'm really sorry this chapter was short and rushed and I'm really sorry for not updating in forever just school and this pandemic really got the best of me but hopefully I'll try to update more
