I'm Scared

Aelin woke up to the sound of soft melodic breathing , she open her eyes to figure out her surroundings and saw she was looking at a Tony Hawk poster on a wall. She was in Ricky's room and in his bed. She then looked under the covers and saw that she was naked and then it registered.

She had slept with Ricky Bowen last night.

She had slept with her best friend for the first time and damn was it amazing, she realized Ricky was a heavy sleeper and she saw that he had his arm draped around her that made her heart flutter a little bit at the intimate gesture.

She immediately she got out of Ricky's grasp without waking him and ,  had to go to the restroom and went after that she decided to get dressed and head home next door because they had morning rehearsals.

She then turned on her phone and saw she had a million texts from Delilah and Big Red asking where she and Ricky were since they hadn't showed up yet and they were both always early.

Aelin then saw that her parents were home and she immediately thought that she was screwed because she didn't come home last night she also saw that she had missed called from her parents and that they were probably very worried she just had to give a believable excuse that wasn't totally a lie.

She immediately opened the door to her house and went to check the living room to see if both her parents were asleep on the couch , to her question they were, and they immediately woke up and saw her.

She felt like a truck hit her woman part because it was sore so she groaned in pain.

Immediately when I groaned in pain my mother immediately came to my aid "Asking what was wrong"? And also "Where was I last night "? And last but not least but still added on "Why wasn't I at morning rehearsals "? I answered all my mother's questions and concerns by giving her the most simple explanation.

I simply said that it got late when Ricky and I were rehearsing lines I didn't like just walking next door at night and I just slept over at his house.

That didn't explain why I groaned in pain and my hair was all messy but it was the best I could come up with at the time.

Surprisingly they both bought it , and I was free to get changed and ready for morning rehearsals I decided to have no make up and leave my hair down and just wear this because I felt tired and exhausted.

Grabbing my backpack I headed downstairs to grab an orange and kissed both my parents on the cheek and hugged them goodbye and I ran towards East High.

I finally made it to the drama room and everyone looked at me and I was standing next to Ricky who got there the same time as me.

I really need to work on my timing.

We immediately backed away from each other awkwardly and excused ourselves  Ms. Jen, didn't seem phased by it and I think she was just ignoring the awkward situation for now.

We immediately got started but besides with rehearsing lines with Ricky we didn't talk much plus today we focused more on my scenes with Gina which she sent death glares at me when I wasn't looking.

Delilah shot me some odd looks as to  questioning why I didn't answer her texts last night but I simply ignored it for now I'd probably get an earful from her later.

Soon it was lunch and it seems like me and Ricky were back where we started.

Ignoring each other to avoid the elephant in the room.

To talk about last night and what it meant for us going forward.

And true to my prediction trying not to throw up my salad I was eating for lunch and Delilah eating fish tacos with cheese I got an earful on why I shouldn't ignore my best friend because she got worried I got kidnapped.

I swear she'd make a great mom one day because of how she worries about me if I don't answer her back, on the bright side she and Big Red are talking so I see them going somewhere romantically in the near future.

All of a sudden I just ran to the bathroom ignoring Delilah's questions on why , I just threw up all I had for lunch and breakfast.

And immediately the door bursted open and I immediately knew who it was it was Delilah who had a concerned and troubling look on her face  twirling her blue hair thinking.

And then she immediately said the burning and inevitable question I had been trying to avoid all day "Did you have sex recently "? She said crouching down to my level and wipping  puke from my face slowly.

I then decided if I was going to come clean to anyone about me and Ricky it was going to be her, and she immediately shouted  yes and then she asked how it was and I just looked at her weirdly and she just shrugged.

She immediately got worried and asked the big fat question "Was I pregnant "? And she knew since she had been in the nurses office previously last year with the flu that she shared with me and Ricky and Big Red , that the nurse had pregnancy tests she immediately ran to get one.

Luckily to Delilah's luck the nurse wasn't there so the mission wouldn't be totally impossible, and lunch was still going on and she immediately came back to my stall.

Delilah then helped me open it and read me the instructions and I did what it told me to do we both waited and we would not believe what came next.

And I saw two lines I was pregnant, and Ricky was the father.

And in that moment I just broke down crying and Delilah just stroked my hair and kept telling me softly it was going to be alright.
