"dead? no, theres no way i could be dead, why would you say that?" i was up and pacing around the spot we were in. "y/n, lass, stop. sit back down." i turned my head to him, and stopped midpace. "fine. fine, i'll stop. but i do have a question." gonner nodded his head.

"who was that voice i heard when i was looking for you?" gonner looked confused. "it was a more feminine voice. sounded like it was floating all around me... and they kept saying things like 'you'll never find him' and 'hes long gone by now'. it was creepy, even for me. and after that, everything just went black..." gonner was sitting still as i explained what happened. 

when i stopped talking, i looked back at gonner. he had a soft, or sad, expression and that made me nervous. "who was that? honestly." he didn't say anything as he looked around us.
