Present time

Yuri's POV

As I got up from my so called 'bed' when it's really just a blanket and pillow on the floor but it's whatever, I got up and got ready for school.

Once I was done, I grabbed my bag and made a beeline out the door with my aunt shouting in the background but I could care less.

Time skip

As I made it to school grounds, I once again just made a beeline towards my locker. I was casually getting my stuff when one dude appeared. 'Morning Yuri,' he said smiling. I turned around and was met with the face of the school's sweetheart Na Jaemin.

I just locked my locker and passed by him without saying anything. It was kinda a routine for me I guess, I always just ignore people and walked by them without saying a word.

After passing by many obstacles (people), I finally can sit at my place and enjoy some peace, or not.

'Hey why did you ignore me?' Jaemin said as he pouted. Ah I forgot to mention that he sits right behind me so I'm basically stuck with him all the time. I just looked at him and then turned away plugging my earphones in as an excuse to not communicate.

He kept on bugging me and I was ready to burst when our teacher came in so he you could say got away. I just stared mindlessly at the board feeling very tired since my beautiful aunt made me clean the whole house yesterday, ALONE so it resulted in me sleeping at like 3/4 am and school pretty much starts at 8 so yey.

Anywayyy, without me knowing it was already time for the next period and lucky me our next teacher is absent so we get a free period. I of course went to take a nap to get some sleep but of course someone had to annoy me. Yes it's Na Jaemin.

Feeling quite irritated from not getting enough sleep and now him bugging me, I got up and made my way towards the bathroom. I went inside one of the stalls and locked it before sitting on the ground and pulled out something that pretty much shouldn't be inside a school bag or any bag in general.

I took the thing out and started grazing it along my arms making it bleed. Ya guessed it right it is a blade. I started cutting myself since maybe when I started high school and I haven't stopped, not that I want to of course.

I made about like 7 cuts on both my arms and then the bell rung signaling that it's time for recess so I got up and washed my arms before going out.

As I quietly enjoyed the silence outside in the school's garden of course someone HAS to ruin it and that someone HAD to be him. 'Hey Yuri, you're not eating?' The Na Jaemin asked as he sat next to me but I just moved away making him pout. 'Didn't feel like it,' I said quietly and he smiled really wide for some reason making me look at him with a 'wtf' face. 'You finally talked to me,' he said smiling even wider if possible.

I just shrugged him off and just enjoyed the music playing in my earbuds when he took one and placed it in his ear. We just sat in silence until the bell rung and he handed my earbud back before taking off somewhere. I sighed before making my way towards my next class that to my luck I did NOT share with him.

Sitting quietly on my seat someone tapped my shoulder and I turned around to be met with Lee Jeno aka one of Na Jaemin's friends. 'Jaemin told me to give you this,' he said as he handed me a granola bar with a note stuck on it. I just said a quiet thanks and opened the note.

I literally could hear your stomach grumbling Miss 'I don't feel like eating' so enjoy that little snack.

I groaned internally and decided to keep the granola bar until we're done with school.

Time skip, End of the school day

I as promised ate the granola bar since I WAS feeling a LITTLE hungry but of course I would never admit that. I threw away the wrapper once I was done and just made my way towards Moonlight Cafe that I work at since my aunt is a bitch and never gives me money so I earn my own.

As the little bell rung when I passed through the door I greeted my co-workers and went to the back and changed into my work clothes and then I finally started my shift.

Time skip, End of Yuri's shift, 5:30 PM

As I quietly wiped the tables, my boss Moon Taeil called me. 'Hey Yuri come here for a sec,' he said and I abandoned the table and walked over to him. 'So I know how you have shifts after school but do you think you could cover for the night shift too since the one that's supposed to take the night shift is taking leave for maybe about 2 months or more so we're kinda under staff.' he said.

'I'll do it,' I said which made him sigh in relief. 'Thank you so much Yuri, you can continue your thing, and you'll start the night shift tomorrow' he said and I nodded before wiping the remaining tables and bidding goodbye once I was done.

'I'm home,' I said as I made a beeline towards my room when I was stopped by my aunt. 'Your late now go make me dinner,' she said and I just nodded before I left to the kitchen.

Not long after, I was done with dinner and so I gave it to my aunt who did not look impressed at all. 'No dinner for you since your late,' she said and I just sighed internally before nodding and retreating to my room.
