It started with small greetings. Jisoo and Bona talked casually to each other. Sometimes a bit longer than usual. Suddenly Jennie got a weird feeling in her stomach. Something she didn't feel before.
Should she ignore it or talk to someone about it? If so who exactly? Since she didn't feel like speaking to either of the two, she found herself sitting in a bakery with her little sister.
"Did she cheat on you?" Ningning asked with raised brows since she hasn't seen Jennie so apprehensive before. "I'm going to rip her apart! I can't believe she would do something like that! I thought I could trust someone who invited my favourite group to my birthday-"
"It's not like that." Jennie denied. "I'm not worried about her. It's about me."
Ningning was taken aback and leaned far back into her seat, gasping at her sister. "You cheated!?"
"No!" Jennie shook her head furiously. "Listen first!"
"I'm all ears." Ningning made a motion of sealing her mouth while telling Jennie to go ahead.
"It's just... Lately I started getting this weird feeling." Jennie muttered, exhausted. "It happens when Jisoo and Bona smile at each other. My stomach hurts and I feel heavy." She sighed.
"Oh. That was her ex's name right?" Ningning's eyes widened in realisation.
Jennie only nodded in response.
"Ah. So that's how it is." Ningning said knowingly, making Jennie brace herself for what she is about to say. "You are jealous."
"I am jealous? Why would I be?"
"Why would you not be? Your wife is rekindling with her ex. And if I remember correctly that's entirely on you. I mean, I'd be jealous and mad at myself if I were you." Ningning snorted.
"I don't mind that they are on good terms. I'm happy." Jennie defended.
"Your body clearly tells you otherwise. You might worry the sparks are coming back between them."
With what Ningning said it dawned on Jennie that she was right. Subconsciously she was a bit insecure. Which she shouldn't be, she completely trusts Jisoo.
"How do I make it stop?" Jennie pouted sadly, wanting to get rid of this jealousy.
"I don't know, put a collar around her neck, brand your name on her forehead," Ningning listed. "Or tell her that you made a mistake."
"A mistake?"
"Yep. You need to realise she didn't want befriend her again. She did it for you. So if you ask her to undo those efforts, she might be irritated or even mad. But admitting a mistake is nothing to be ashamed of. Just apologise and try to work it out."
'I made a mistake.' Jennie repeated in her mind. She was naive to think this set up wouldn't affect her. It was selfish of her to initiate it and then dislike it. Guilt bubbled up in her chest.
Jennie practiced what she would say during work but when she returned to this shocking sight, she forgot all the words to say. Her face paled. Bona and Jisoo were just kissing.
She didn't stay to confront them. She didn't even stay rooted on the ground, she immediately left. Her heart dropping to her stomach while the tears pooled in the corner of her eyes.
Maybe she didn't see it correctly, there is no way Jisoo would do that to her. She was committed. At least Jennie thought so from the way she treated her. But she knew what she saw and their lips definitely touched.

Jisoo has felt very nervous lately. The reason? She saved up on first class tickets to Paris and she finally could afford them. A honeymoon at last.
