PERCY'S POV

****************

The DADA class was absolutely horrible, and it hit me really hard. Annabeth had a hard time too, and Nico--if that's even possible--seemed moodier. Calypso seemed distant, and Hazel, she was almost in a trance, like she was thinking about her death again.

That night, with my suggestion, we decided to go and spar in the Room of Requirement, to take out minds off things.

"How do we get there again?" I mumbled as we stumbled along the never-ending array of corridors and trick staircases. "This castle is even more puzzling than the Labyrinth."

Annabeth has her nose buried in the A Guide To Hogwarts book. "Room of Requirement... Room of Requirement... it says to go to the seventh floor, opposite of this poster of... Barnabas the Barny--"

"Bananas for Barnie?" Leo repeated. "I though Barnie was a purple dinosaur, not a banana-loving monkey."

She corrected, "Barnabas the Barny. I have no idea what that is. Anyway--"

"I have no idea what floor we're on," Will said, delicately patting a scowling Nico's head.

"I don't, either. Anyway, if we ever reach the location, we just walk along the area three times, saying what we desperately need in careful detail, and it should present us the Room of Requirement."

After a half an hour of wandering and some help from these Ravenclaw fourth years, we at last entered the chamber.

It was identical to what I expected: a large sparring arena, comparable to an atrium. Seats lined the circular walls, providing the witnesses a place to sit and watch the match. Six evenly spaced columns held up the marble ceiling, a glass sunroof filtering in some twinkling sunlight (wait, wasn't it nighttime?) The ground itself was sturdy, packed dirt, with the right amount of friction needed.

We decided that Will would be our healer, Calypso the referee, and me and Jason as the first contestants. I barely pulled off a victory and limped over to Will, where he would he fixing my stinging, electrocuted arm.

Hazel won against Piper because of the former's gem-controlling ability. However, she lost against Annabeth, who pulled off yet another victory against Nico. Jason fought and defeated her by a landslide, though.

Then Leo, of all people, wanted to fight me.

"C'mon, Water Boy," he taunted, ten feet away from me.

"Don't call me Water Boy" I said, unsheathing Riptide, my pen-sword, and charged.

What I wasn't expecting was him to be so agile. He leapt behind me, threw a flaming fireball at my butt, and burned my pants off. Luckily, the room obviously knew I needed a bucket of water, so one appeared and I sloshed the liquid onto my bottom. Unfortunately, everyone had a clear view of my superman underwear.

"Hey!" Jason jumped to his feet, yelling. "I thought we agreed that I am superman, not you!"

"I see London, I see France-" Leo began, sprinting to the other side of the arena.

"VALDEZ!" I shouted, ignoring Annabeth's blush and smirk, and pursued him.

"I see Percy's- AHHHH!" he yelled, running away.

I caught up with him, gave him a wedgie, doused him in water (which also conveniently appeared) and then went into the changing room with extra pants that had just popped up directly in front of me. I was beginning to like that room a lot.
