As Sora was cleaning up after her busy day at the café, the sky opened up dropping a torrential downpour of rain. Her pesky pixie friends left the inanimate objects they were inhabiting and gathered around the windows to watch for Hawks' arrival as Sora wiped down the counters for the fifth time in a row. They were now sparkling and practically reflective.

"He's here!" The pixies cried at the door just as the clock struck six.

Sora nervously scurried toward the door as Hawks arrived with a large umbrella in one hand and a cloth grocery bag in the other. He'd changed out of his hero costume and was wearing a pair of fitted jeans, a v-neck black t-shirt that seemed to mold to his body like a second skin and a somewhat grungy looking jacket. She felt her heart begin to thrum with excitement as she raced to the door. She scrambled to open the door and greeted Hawks with a warm yet nervous smile.

"I was going to offer to help with cleanup but everything looks practically reflective." He chuckled as he looked past her to the shiny appliances.

Sora felt her cheeks begin to flush with warmth, she'd been so nervous about their 'date' she'd gone into cleaning mode and made everything shine. There wasn't a single speck of dust to be found in the cafe. She almost opened her mouth to apologize before realizing that meant she would be apologizing for cleaning her own bakery and she quickly closed her mouth feeling embarrassed.

Noticing the endearing blush spreading across her cheeks, Hawks chuckled softly to himself and decided to move away from the topic of cleaning, "ready to go?" He moved the bag of groceries, looping it over his opposite arm so he could hold the umbrella and groceries with one arm. He offered her his now free arm.

Sora shyly placed her arm in his. "Ready."

Hawks headed out the door and opened up the umbrella to protect them from the downpour. Sora held the door open long enough for all of the pixies to leave before closing and locking it. Realizing she must have been holding the door open for her invisible protectors, Hawks looked curiously up at the large red umbrella. "will all of your friends be able to fit under here?" He asked, hoping he'd brought a big enough umbrella.

Sora smiled, touched by his thoughtfulness, "it's alright, the rain doesn't bother them." Unless they were imbued in something that didn't do well with water. Her pesky pixie friends couldn't interact with tangible things in their natural state. She didn't really need to hold the door open for them, she just did it because it was polite, they could just phase through it if they wanted.

Hawks pulled her closer and used his wing to help shield her from the rain and wind. She didn't have a jacket with her. Sora's heart thundered in her chest as she found herself cozied up at his side. Her body felt warm despite the chill the rain had brought with it, she was standing so close to Hawks she could feel his body heat radiating through his clothes. Sora glanced up as Locke floated in front of Hawks grumbling angrily.

"Too close!" Locke snapped and futilely tried to take a swing at Hawks.

"Is the broom trying to attack me again?" Hawks asked Sora curiously as he felt like someone was glaring at him intently.

Sora blanched, "...uh...yes..." She waved her hand in front of Hawks to shoo Locke away, "Locke, be nice, please."

"It's kind of like a guard dog, isn't it?" Hawks mused as he felt the invisible creature glaring at him from somewhere nearby.

Sora thought for a minute, Locke did remind her a bit of a dog she used to play with as a kid. It was one of her neighbor's dogs. He used to follow her everywhere and growl and lunge at anyone that got near her on her walks to and from school. He disappeared when she was still quite young, before she'd gotten her quirk. Locke had shown up a few weeks after that. A shiver rolled down her spine as a very morbid thought crossed her mind. Was it possible her pesky pixie friends weren't pixies, but lost souls of the dead who rather than moving on to the afterlife, haunted her.
