AN:last chapter was horseshit, let's just face it I went for some awesome cinematic sequence with centuries as background music ,cus I was obssesed with the song then it turned out to be a cringey peice of work so yeah, hopefully this chapter makes up for it and answers some loopholes too.
PERCY POV
After the fight was over and we had all gotten out of the arena Thalia kept pestering my life out of me with the one question I didn't want to answer: Why Annabeth was here. After a ton of pleading from her part and the rest of the hunters including Artemis joining in, then Bianca giving me the baby seal eyes, I finally gave in. I told them about how I asked Athena to restore Annabeth's powers and retake her as her daughter, give her a second chance, because according to me everyone deserves one. Then the chaos ensued with all the hunters shooting me questions about why I did that. I shushed them all (somehow, when those hunters start they're like a mob I swear-) and said " I didn't do it because I like her or something I don't, I never can and never will, I did it because she shouldn't be punished so hard for her one mistake after all she did for Olympus, she still helped Luke save the world, and she shouldn't be punished that harshly.
All the hunters gaped at me whilst a very angry looking Luke stormed over and grabbed me by the collar. All the hunters got ready with their bows and hunting-knives. He snarled "LISTEN UP JACKSON, YOU SAVED THE WORLD, GOT IT?! STOP CARTING OFF CREDIT AND ACTUALLY GIVE YOURSELF SOME OF IT FOR ONCE!" a smirk was now plastered on his face as all the hunters broke down in laughter. I for one blinked confusedly as I tried to make sense of the situation. II said something really smart along the lines of "Oh um gah?" Luke set me down and joined in the laughter. Artemis and Zoe were one-armed hugging each other trying not to fall down. I simply rolled my eyes.
"This guy still telling you people I saved the world?" Luke asked to the seven who were coming towards us fast wondering what all the ruckus was about. Once they heard what the situation was ,they too started laughing and rolled around all over the ground. I was really getting annoyed at this point.
Which was when suddenly a fissure opened underneath me plummeting me to the ground. I screamed " I HAVE THE WORST LUCK IN THE DAM WORLDDDD" as I fell causing everyone to chuckle but immediately regain composure, whilst Zoe just wore a confused expression on her face. Landing on the pavement a million miles below Olympus I noticed a giant foot descend upon me. Well, at least it can't get any worse right? I thought to myself before looking up and cursing my luck even more.
It was-
