Third person's POV
Mizuka saw Hayato and ran to him, "How's the practice?" She asked, "Nothing special, like always" Hayato answered.
"How about you? Are you okay now?" He asked his girlfriend, "The headache never left but it's because of my period so nothing to worry about" Mizuka said.
"Let's get something to eat before the class starts" Hayato said, "Let me get my phone and wallet, I left it at the daycare"
Mizuka went back to the daycare while Hayato waited for her at the locker room.
"Hmm, it's just here earlier" Mizuka can't find her wallet, "Oops, there is it" At this point, her vision got worst. She felt the room revolve that made her tremble.
"What's taking that idiot so long?" Hayato got concerned and went to look for his girlfriend.
As he walk through the hallways to the daycare, one of their classmates stopped him for a word.
"Kamitani! Go find Mizuka-san!" Ushimaru begged, "I am going to check on her, why?" Hayato asked blankly, unaware of what's happening.
"The cookie she ate earlier contained poison!" She said that made Hayato think twice, "Don't even try with your pranks" He mistaken.
People have been pranking both of them ever since the confirmation of their relationship.
"I heard it from Akari directly! She secretly added some kind of cyanide on the cookie-" Hayato took that seriously and ran as fast as he can to get to Mizuka.
"MIZUKA!" He slammed open the door showed Mizuka sitting on the floor.
She was holding something on her mouth, she took it off and showed coughed blood on her hands then more shed from her mouth, "Hayato..." She passed out.
Hayato got scared, he quickly caught the unconscious Mizuka to his arms and rushed to get help from the clinic.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!" He yelled to get people clear the way, they were horrified to see Hayato carrying Mizuka with stains of blood.
"Looks like the plan worked" Akari thought smiling oddly in the crowd.
Yuki saw Akari smiling maniacally while Hayato pass by, she must resist to not mention anything about the incident Akari made.
But she felt the urge to admit it so she quickly ran away from the classroom and followed Hayato.
Mizuka's POV
I opened my eyes and found myself in a hospital ward with Hayato beside me.
"Mizuka" He grabbed my hand and kissed it, "What am I doing here?" I asked, "Something happened, I-i can't say it because-"
"You don't believe it, I know you Hayato. Don't force yourself" I said smiling softly. As I sat down, someone else came to the room.
"Thank goodness you're awake Mizuka-san!" Yuki said while Inomata sighed in relief.
"Why did you eat the cookie if you don't know who made it and where it came from?!" Inomata burst her worries, how can you blame her?
"I already called Oba-san" Ryuuichi said patting my shoulder, "I hope you recover soon" He added.
A nurse opened the door with Saikawa and Oba-san "Mizuka-sama, I'm glad that you're awake now" He said, "Oba-san, I'm sorry if I wasted your time-" Oba-san grabbed my hand and caressed my face.
"It's alright" She said, "After all, your my granddaughter, why wouldn't I visit you?"
It melted me, I didn't know she has this side of her. It felt great to witness one of it.
