chapter eleven - changes

Third person's POV

After declaring the dismissal of Akari from the academy, Mizuka saw Hayato and immediately ran to hug him.

"Hayato!" She squealed, Hayato smiled seeing her, "Why didn't you call me?" He asked, "Surprise?" Mizuka laughed.

"What's going on there?" Ryuuichi asked after seeing cops at the hallway, "Expulsion of a student for violating the rules of the school" Shizuka said.

"Thank you, Mizuka. I'm glad you're okay" Shizuka said, "I just did what I should do Sensei" Mizuka smiled.

Rina told Ryuuichi and Hayato what happened while Shizuka and Mizuka are discussing something.

"S-she's the President?" Ryuuichi is shocked knowing the truth meanwhile Hayato who's staring at his girlfriend, "I knew it all along"

"Inomata-san, Ushimaru-san" Mizuka took their hands, "Thank you for staying true to me all along" She smiled, "It's not a big deal, you know" Inomata said that made Yuki and Mizuka giggled.

"You must get going before your class starts" Shizuka said, "Yes, sensei. See you later" They all said.

Couple of hours passed by:

Mizuka went to check her sister at the daycare, Misaki barely called his sister because she knows she's studying hard.

"Mizuka-chan!"

Mizuka giggled, "I missed you all very much" She said, hugging all of them, "Oneechan!" Misaki pulled her sister's skirt.

"I made this for you!" She said, giving out a piece of paper with a drawing on it, "Mama said you're the next coe of her work" She said.

"CEO, Misaki" Mizuka chuckled and stared at the paper, it's a drawing of her and Misaki, "Did someone taught you how to draw this good?" She asked, "No, I did it all by myself" Misaki smiled.

"Chaa~ Mizuka-chan will be back okay? It'll take me hours to come back" Mizuka said, "Usaida-san, Ryuuichi, Hayato, take care of them"

"Oi Mizu" Hayato called, he pulled Mizuka outside the daycare, "Is there a problem?" Mizuka asked but Hayato ignored her.

He slid his hand to her face, pulling her closer to him. Before Hayato could do anything, Mizuka snatched a kiss from him.

"I know you missed me that much but I have to go for a while, I'll take my exams" Mizuka said, "Okay" Hayato boringly said that made Mizuka laugh.

Mizuka took her exams, all the teachers are impressed with her, she's been excused for 3 weeks but still managed to get high scores on both exams and quizzes.

"I'm sorry, but can I take this?" Mizuka's secretary has been calling her.

"Sure Mizuka-san" Her teacher said, "It'll be quick" She smiled.

"Hello, Mizuka Kamiyama from Kamiyama. Co speaking" Mizuka answered the call, "Hello Ms. Mizuka, the board members requested for the forms they gave you by tomorrow" Her secretary said.

"Okay, I'll send it via email. Please tell them to be patient, I still have 3 years here at Japan and might experience delays due to school" Mizuka said,

"Sure thing Ma'am" Emily took note, "Thank you, Emily. I'll call back later" Mizuka ended the call and went back to her class.

"Sorry for the wait, Ms. Shimizu" Mizuka sat down, "It's fine" Her teacher continued the discussion.

Mizuka's POV

Phew, I never expected this to be tough.

I finally finished my class with Ms. Shimizu and I can now go to the daycare to help the others.

"Hello Mizuka Kamiyama from Kamiyama. Co speaking"

"Darling, it's me" Mary called, "Oh sorry, I didn't noticed the name on the phone" I chuckled.

"It's okay, how are you?" Mary asked, "I'm fine, you?" I answered, "Not done with the divorce papers" Mary said.

Henry, Mary's husband had an affair and took almost half of Mary's allowance. Lucky for her, it's not the company's investments and loans.

"Don't worry about it, I'll make sure he'll never step on my office" I swore, "Thank you, Mizuka. You're really are like your mother" Mary chucked, "I'll go now, take care!" I ended the call.

Man, I had enough of the coffee. It's the third cup today.

I entered the daycare to see Taka and Kirin fighting, I took Kirin away from Taka, "Stop, let's talk about it, okay?" I said and both behaved.

Usaida is sleeping, I sighed, "Usaida-san, what are you doing? The kids could have been bruised if I didn't come here!" I said frustrated.

"Kirin, Taka? What's bothering both of you?" I asked, "She said playing is tiring!" Taka yelled, "He said studying is boring!" Kirin said.

Sometimes, kids fight over nonsense.

"Okay, let's vote. Who wants to play-"

"Misaki-chan, let's go study!"
"No, she's pink ranger!"

"Catch me!" Takuma ran with a pointy sword while Kazuma is behind him, Misaki is getting annoyed and now she's hiding behind me.

"Everyone-"

Now I get why Hayato gets mad if the kids doesn't listen to him.

I took Kirin, Misaki to the corner to study with story books and gave them crayons and pad to draw with.

Picked up Takuma and Kazuma and swing then playful until they asked me to stop.

And lastly, I carried Taka and gave him a piggyback, "Play with me then" I smiled, his eyes sparkled in excitement.

Third person's POV

Hayato and Ryuuichi are done with their classes, "We'll go now" Ryuuichi said to their classmates.

"I felt like Mizuka changed" Ryuuichi shared his thought, "How can you tell?" Hayato asked, "First of all, Rina said she changed expressions very much now"

"Her glances look scary" Ryuuichi said, "She must have gotten that from you. After all, you guys hang out a lot"

"Inomata also said Mizuka tend to call people so formally now" Ryuuichi said, "What do you think?" Ryuuichi asked Hayato.

"I'm fully aware of that" Hayato said, "She shared all the experiences she had while at work"

"She's the CEO of one of the most successful companies" Hayato said, "It'll be shameful if she's too informal and child-like"

As the arrived at the daycare, they saw the chaos happening with kids and Mizuka.

Hayato stopped Ryuuichi from helping Mizuka, "Let her be" He said, watching carefully.

"She's gonna get hurt if we don't help her, Kamitani" Ryuuichi is worried, "Don't you know her, Kashima?" Hayato asked.

He can see she's struggling at first but then, she suddenly sparked energy and enthusiasm.

"Like she usually do" Hayato entered, "Oh? You're both here!" Mizuka laughed while Taka attacked her.

"Taka-kun, don't do it or else" Taka climbed to her head but Mizuka grabbed him and tickled him instead.

"I told you" Mizuka laughed, "Kirin-chan and Taka-kun had a fight earlier" Mizuka said, "And Usaida-san is sleeping. Good thing no one is hurt" She added.

"How's the exams?" Ryuuichi asked, "Great, average scores" Mizuka answered.

Mizuka's phone started ringing again, "Wait a second" She dashed off the daycare.

"Hey Kamitani" Usaida called, "Take care of Mizuka. She seems worn out and get irritated easily" Usaida said.

"Mizuka-chan! MIZUKA-CHAN!" Taka yelled, "Eh Taka-kun, Mizuka is still-"

"Someone needs me?" Mizuka slammed the door open that surprised all of them, "Sorry, I got used to my office door" She chuckled.
