chapter twelve - jealous boy

Mizuka's POV

Another day at Morinomiya Academy, I'm surprised that I actually survived two years with both work and studies.

They said there's a new transferred boy and he came from a famous family.

Isn't it too late for him to transfer here?

"Nezu-kun!" I called, "Did you came across Inomata-san?" I asked, "No" He answered, "I see, can you-"

"Mizuka-chan!" Ushimaru called, "Oh? Ushimaru-san, Yagi-kun... Inomata-san!" I ran to her, "I've been looking for you!" I said, "Ryuuichi wanted to give this to you" I handed a box.

"Yours, Ushimaru-san" I gave her a box too, I know both of them likes Ryuuichi.

"Did Kamitani gave you one too?" Yagi asked, "No, but it's okay, at least I'm with him" I said.

"Why don't we get lunch together?" I invited, "I'll call Hayato and Ryuuichi too"

"Sounds good to me" Yagi said, "Okay!" I smiled and we all headed to the canteen.

"Hayato~" I answered the call, "Where are you?" He asked, "Canteen, come here. We're all having lunch" I said, "Okay" He ended the call.

"What's yours?" Ushimaru asked me, "I'll wait for Hayato" I said, "There he is" I waved my hand to see me, "Hayato~"

"What food do you want?" I asked him, "You" He said that made me blush, "Hey! What's gotten into you!" I covered my cheeks, "You said that last night to me" He mentioned that made them giggled.

"I'll just get the curry" Hayato said, "Make that two" I took my phone to pick up the call.

"Hello, Mizuka Kamiyama from Kamiyama. Co speaking" I said, "Hello ma'am, I processed the paper works you asked me earlier and Ms. Kamiyama asked if you're done with your medical results?" Emily said.

I sighed, "Yes, I'll just forward it to you. How's Mrs. Tanaka? Is she okay now?" I asked, "Yes, ma'am, she's okay. I must have disturbed you by this call, I'll get going" Emily said, "It's fine, just send me all the paperwork and update me" I ended the call.

They all looked at me, "I didn't know you're good at speaking English" Yagi said, "She came from America, Yagi" Inomata said that made all of us chuckled.

"I'll get our food, please wait" As I went to the counter, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"I apologize!" He said, "No, it's okay" I said, taking my handkerchief to wipe the spilled juice on my uniform.

"I deeply apologize" He said, trying to help me, "I'm fine, you should go now, sorry for blocking the way" I smiled, stepping back.

Our eyes met, he's handsome but not quite like my baby.

"Sorry for the wait" I said, giving their food, "What happened to your uniform?" Ryuuichi asked, "Ah, I bumped into someone and he accidentally spilled the juice on my uniform" I sat down beside Hayato.

Hayato covered me his jacket, "I already told you to-" "You know I can't right?" I glared at him, "That's enough" Inomata said.

"You guys get annoyed very easily nowadays" Ryuuichi said, "Ask this man here to stop" I rolled my eyes.

Third person's POV

Thomas, the newly transferred student is the son of a famous basketball player. He transferred to Morinomiya Academy as his father bought a new mansion near the school.

He's popular among girls, except Mizuka's circle of friends. He's been doing great now after several months of adjustment.

"Hey, uhm do you know her name?" Thomas asked one of his classmate, "Yes, she's Kamiyama. The chairwoman's granddaughter" They answered.

"Do you know her classroom?" He asked, "It's Class C" They said, "Thanks!" He dashed outside.

"I wish she's free today, I want to tell her something" Thomas thought.

He stood infront of the Class C room and asked one of Mizuka's classmate for her.

"Someone is looking for you" And girls proceeded to adore him, even if they're 2 years older than him.

"Oh? I saw him earlier" Mizuka came closer to Thomas, "Hi! What do you want?" Mizuka asked, "I was wondering if you're free, I wanted to tell you something"

"Oh, sorry. I have a meeting with my clients, maybe later three pm?" Mizuka said and Thomas agreed, "I'll meet you at the locker room" Thomas took his turn.

As his class starts, he can't help but think of Mizuka. He never felt what falling in love is but now he does, he has feelings for Mizuka.

Two fifty-six pm, Thomas is now waiting at the locker room for Mizuka. "Still waiting for Kamiyama-san?" His classmates asked and Thomas nodded, "Well, wish you luck" They patted his shoulder and left. 

Mizuka later arrived at exact three pm, "Thomas!" She called, "So what are you going to tell me? Mizuka asked, "Uhm, here" Thomas gave her a box of chocolates.

"Hey, it's not valentine's yet!" Mizuka joked that made Thomas laughed.

"Mizuka-san, I like you" Thomas said without hesitation, Mizuka was mixed reaction for Thomas.

Little didn't they know, Hayato is nearby, eavesdropping both of them.

"I-" Mizuka's phone started ringing, "Wait a second- Hayato~" She answered the call, "Oi Mizu, where are you?" Hayato asked, "Locker room, why?" She said.

"Good thing I know she's telling the truth" Hayato thought.

"Who are you with?" Hayato asked, "Thomas, the guy I talk about"

"Mind if I join?" Hayato showed up behind the lockers, Mizuka just chuckled, "Why are you hiding there?"

"Hayato this is Thomas and Thomas this is Hayato, my boyfriend" Mizuka said that broke Thomas's heart.

"I'm sorry, Thomas but I can't accept your confession. You deserve someone else" Mizuka said to lighten him up.

"You think so? I never felt what love is. I thought this is it but I guess I'm wrong" Thomas said, "It's not too late yet, Thomas" Mizuka said.

"We'll get going now" Hayato picked up Mizuka like a sack. "Hey Hayato! What are you doing?" Mizuka got surprised by the sudden move and playfully smacked Hayato.

"Put me down now" This time Hayato listened, "What's wrong?" Mizuka asked, but he still doesn't answer her,

"Are you jealous?" She asked, "Why would I?" Hayato said that made Mizuka laugh.

"Why are you jealous? I'm yours, no one can take me away from you!" She reminded him, "Come here" Mizuka invited Hayato to a hugging session.

Hayato took it and hugged his girlfriend, "I love you" Mizuka said, "Me too" Hayato joked, "Hey!" Mizuka laughed.

Hayato broke the hug to kiss Mizuka on her lips, "I love you" He said, "Me too" Mizuka answered that ruined the moment, "You said that too!" Mizuka continued laughing while Hayato stares at her with annoyance.
