"I promise!" [Tanjiro Kamado x Demon Reader]

5- ~Demon slayer?~

NOTE: I'll be using (Y/N) now! I'm going to edit the pages later. Oh! Also I might make a Boy x Boy for Tanjiro! Hang in with my on the female things. 

Third person POV
"And, Still, I can't hear his footsteps at all!" Tanjiro said still running.  "Hang in there Nezuko, (Y/N)!" Tanjiro said in his mind. "The ride might be bumpy, but just hang on!" He told himself once again.

"But then, you two always did know how to be patient, didn't you?" Tanjiro once again talked to himself. Then, a memory played through for him.  "Nezuko, fixing your kimono again?" Tanjiro asked. "That settles it, we'll have to buy you a new one." Tanjiro told his sister. "No, no! It's fine really!"

The human Nezuko said with a smile. "This Kimono is my favorite, besides! It's not important I'd rather feed our brothers and sisters." Nezuko said with a chuckle at the end. 

"Mrs. Kamado?" human (Y/N) asked. "Oh! Yes (Y/N)?" the elder woman replied. "Do you need help with anything?" (Y/N) questioned as a soft smile appeared on the (E/C) female. "Hmm. Nothing I can think of right now, dear! I'll let you know if I think of something." Tanjiros mother said.

"Whats going on in here?" The red-head male said, curious. "Tanjiro!" the female smiled, happily as she clung onto the boy. Tanjiro let out a chuckle, "Hey, (Y/N)." he replied to the energetic female.

"(Y/N!) (Y/N)!" kids yelped, tugging on her arm. "Heh, Yes, my loves?" (Y/N) asked looking down with a soft gaze. "My hoari ripped!" one whined as they showed the hole in the haori. "Can you read me a story?" one pleaded holding a book up. 

(Y/N) giggled as the red-eyed male watched in awe, taking in every detail about his lover. "How about Tanjiro tags along?" (Y/N) asked, looking at her beloved. Tanjiro jumped at his name but smiled and nodded, a slight blush on his cheeks. 

"Yeah! Onii-chan come on!" they yelped, pulling the both of you. "I swear, I'll turn you back into a human. And then, I'll buy you beautiful Kimonos! Everything I wasn't able to do for the others, I'll do it all for you two!" Tanjiro thought while running.

They arrived and Tanjiro was panting. (Y/N) looked around with an awe hum. "okay- does this mean- please tell me this means I passed the test." Tanjiro panted. Urokodaki opened the door, and took the thing off his head.

"We're just beginning the test. We'll be climbing a mountain." He said, slightly turning his head. Tanjiro gasped but it was more like a wail. They went inside and made something for both Nezuko and (Y/N). 

"I promise I'll take care of your sister and partner for you while your gone" Urokodaki said. Tanjiro looked over, slightly upset while near the two. "I do appreciate that, sir." Tanjiro said. 

The two appeared on a mountain walking up it. The fog covering the floor slightly as the crows yelped their calls. The moon shined brightly as animals squeaked out. Tanjiro panting as they continued to walk. "Awh man, I'm so exhausted, My legs are starting to buckle, and I'm getting dizzy too." The boy with a scar said to himself.

Urokodaki turned around and began to speak. "Now find your way back to my house at the foot of the mountain. This time, I won't wait until day break." 

Then he vanished into fog.
