"Huh?!" Tanjiro gasped as his trainer disappeared. "That's the test?" He asked himself staring at where Urokodaki used to be. "Uh.. I get it. Because of the fog he thinks I might get lost. All I have to do is get back by daybreak? No problem, not with my sense of smell. I've memorized Mr. Urokodakis scent!" He told himself, and started running unaware of the traps.

He then tripped on a rope, starting the trap. Or, one of the many. He gasped and looked around, then looked over to see rocks flying, he didn't have enough time to react so he got hit with them. "What the?!" he asked. Triggering another trap he fell into a ditch with a yell.

The birds yelled out their calls as Tanjiro groaned from the fall and the rocks. Looking around his vision blurry. "A tiger pit?" He pondered. "Of course. There are traps all over the mountain." He said, getting up. But triggering another trap on his way up, "Thats why this is a test!"

"Oh no!" He told himself, getting up and looking around just to be hit on the back by a log. He flew and landed on his side, getting back up again. "Crap, crap, crap. If I keep walking into these traps, I'll never make it down the mountain by morning!" He panicked to himself, looking at the sky as the moonshined down, clouds surrounding the cresset moon.

He panted, "Not to mention, beside the traps, the air here is- the air is thin on this mountain, a whole lot thinner than the mountain where I grew up." He said, standing up fully while grasping his scarf. "It's no wonder I feel so dizzy." He told himself now clutching where his heart is. "I can't breath!"

He then started running at his best, "I hope I can make it. I might pass out! No, I have to make it!" He said to himself, sliding then stopping to breath. "Control your breathing. Then sniff out all of those traps!" He said once again, to himself. Controlling his breathing, waves of scent came to him, those scents were the traps. He gasped, then started running again. Being able to dodge some of the traps, or most of them. Jumping, leaping, running, sliding was all he was doing to get past those traps.

"Yes! Got it! Piece of cake! These traps were set by humans! Which means their scent sticks out to me!" He said, as he kept running. Getting hit by a trap, "But I guess, that doesn't solve all my problems." Getting hit by bamboo, it bounced finally landing. "Because I'm still not athletic enough to dodge every single one of them!"

"I'll make it back, no matter what.. For (Y/N!), Nezuko!" He challenged himself. The moon was still up. Nezuko and (Y/N) sleeping to regain their strength. Urokodaki covering up the two as they slept together snuggling. Urokodaki looked outside the window, to see slight sunshine shining through. The door opened to Tanjiro, he made it! He was panting, eyes wide full of determination.

"..I made it." He spoke out to Urokodaki as he fell to his knees, holding onto the door frame. "Back down." He said, hanging his head. Giyus (Giyu tho..) voice started re-playing in his head. "Dear Urokodaki, sir, forgive the intrusion. There's a boy headed your way in need of instruction. He wants to be a demon slayer. He was fearless enough to attack me unarmed." Giyus voice spoke again, as a crow landed on Urokodakis arm. He took the letter.

"A demon killed his family, expect his younger sister and lover who's been turned, But I'm certain they will not attack a human. They're different. I can sense something about these three. The boy has a keen sense of smell, much like yourself. So maybe, just maybe. He'll be able to find a way to break through."

"I'm asking for you to train this boy. This may seem like a frivolous request, but please humor me. If I'm not mistaken, this will all make sense one day. Take care of yourself. Yours truly, Giyu Tomioka." Tanjiro was asleep on the door frame as Urokodaki looked at him. (HELP THE POOR BOY?!)  Tanjiro was breathing heavily as all his wounds were bleeding, he had many bruise's. Urokodaki was stilll staring at him. The sun was rising slowly as Urokodaki finally spoke, "You're now my new student, Tanjiro Kamado."

It was now nighttime as Tanjiro was woke writing on a notepad. He looked over at the two sleeping. His hoari covering the two as they snuggled. "You two were always close, seems like you still are." He spoke. A slight smile.

Tanjiro stopped writing and went to sleep, waking up, taking his hoari and checking on the two. The flames of the lanterns blowing out. Urokodaki was doing something, but then stood up and spoke to the red-haired boy. "Lets go." He commanded to the boy. Tanjiro closed the slide door and went with Urokodaki.

"The demon slayer corps. We number in the hundreds. An organization completely unrecognized by the government. Since ancient times, we have existed to hunt down demons. However, the identity of the demon slayer corps's leader has always remained a mystery. Demons.. their staple food, humans. They hunt and kill them. It is unclear when or where they first appeared. Incredible physical prowess. Their wounds heal almost instantly."

"Flesh completely restores itself. Severed limbs regenerated. Some can shape-shift. Some have other powers. They can only be killed by sunlight (Not (Y/N)!) or decapitated with a special sword. The demon slayers fight these demons with mere mortal bodies. As humans, wounds are slow to heal, and their lost limbs unable to grow back. Nevertheless, they fight to protect and defend-

 humanity."
