Andrew's POV
Today's the day. I was in Colette's room, (obviously for special purposes) turned around while she puts on her silicon black suit.
It took forever so I took a peek at her to see if she's done. And, wow. She looked hot as usual, but with her costume on, she looked very professional.
Colette looked nervous and worried while she was gearing up. Maybe I could boost her confidence."Good luck. Go beat those Giants." I boost up her self esteem.
"Ha, Thanks." She replied with a shaky voice. Why was she so nervous?
I've seen her beat fifty asgardians and one huge alien monster. Are the Frost Giants really that scary?
"Hey, I know you could do it." I said, trying to make her feel better. She sighed.
"It's just... You don't understand." She murmured. I walked up to her and hugged her, giving a small kiss on her forehead. Her cheeks turned red but tried to hide it. She looks so cute when she does that.
"Thank you, Andrew. Well, I have to go now. Since you're not permitted to come, you're gonna have to stay with Odin. He has a 3D projector that would allow you to see me and Thor." She explained. Thor was waiting for her outside and left off to Jouteinheim while I'm stuck here alone with the king.
Colette's POV
I hold on to Thor as we arrive at Jouteinheim.
I expected it to look abandoned and scary, but it turned out to be wonderful. The ceiling was full of shining icicles like chandeliers, floors so bright that you could see your own reflection and walls made of dry thick snow. It's a beautiful place full of monsters. It was so empty and too silent. Obviously there's Frost Giants everywhere right around the corner hiding.
"Show yourselves!" Thor yelled as they slowly lurked out of the shadows.
They were scarier than I thought. Their skin color was blue, Skeletons popping out of their chests, and dark red eyes as if I was in a horror movie. All they were wearing was a small green skirt and a few gears. Almost all of them are men. I gulped.
"Surrender to attack Asgard or you will all fall!" I yelled. They did not seem afraid, ready to fight.
"Fine then, fall as you wish." Thor said, throwing his hammer, making them drop on the ground, lifeless.
The fight begins.
I run at mild speed and jumped on one of their backs, slashing their throat as dark blue blood splatters on the floor. That was easy.
I continued to fight them with just my swords. I stabbed one on the stomach, the sword reaching all the way opening its back.
Thor throws 20 frost Giants down a cliff with one swing of his hammer. We're doing great so far.It took forever to take them all down, one by one. Giants keep emerging every time I kill one, like it was infinite. I had a few battle scars but I was glad it was over. I'm extremely tired.
Thor and I were about to head home when I almost forgot one thing: The leader.
"Where do you think you're going." Says a deep grisly voice from behind.
The leader was 10 times larger than the normal Giants.
"Colette, go back to Asgard. I could take care of this one." Thor whispered.
"No." I said clearly. I am not leaving him to die.
"We work on this together." I said one last time and emerged to the giant.
I jumped up and grappled my legs to his neck and threw him down the ground using my weight.
Next, I kick its stomach until it swells. Once it looked weak, I took my sword to finish him.Wait.
The giant stands up and brushes its shoulders like nothing happened, and laughed.
"You are weak!" He says, mocking me. That's my least favorite word.
He grabs my waist with his hands and smashes me onto the wall, my back breaking the ice into pieces and onto the ground. I couldn't stand up. I feel like my bones were crushed into pieces.
It was Thor's turn. He throws his hammer to the Giant, gets it back, and keeps throwing it. Not really enough action into it, except that the Giant was getting weaker. It was definitely making it slow down, but it's still not dead.
I couldn't just lay hear and do nothing. I have to do something. Right in the corner of my eye, there was this gigantic sharp icicle that is much powerful than my sword. I try to stand up as hard as I can, and walked towards the icicle. Oh fuck that hurts.
I felt like collapsing down into million pieces. I want to, but I can't give up. I grab the ice, having to bend down which made me drop on the floor. I tried to stand up again, heart pounding on my chest.
Don't blow this off, Colette. Kill the fucker.
While Thor had his attention, facing its back to my face, I could attack it easily.
It has to take all my energy to do this. It may injure me severely, but its the only way.
I stab it on its back, coming out all the way to its chest, possibly hitting its heart. I breathed heavily. My arms are in pain. I'm gonna collapse. At least it's over. I killed the Frost Giant. Now we could all go back home, and --
I fall down the ground, hitting my head. The giant wasn't done. I forgot that frost Giants could turn their hands into sharp swords and stabbed me back, doing the same thing as I did to it. It came all the way from my chest, the blade opening a whole reaching all the way to my back.
All I could see is pitch black. I cannot feel my body, my eyes turning dark and my ears slowly blocked my hearing.
There's one thing I know for sure.
I am dead.
