Colette's POV

~ Flashback ~

"Stay here, Colette. I have to save your mother." My father caresses my cheeks, wiping the tears off.

Fire. All I could see is fire.

"Daddy." I cried, holding my little doll. Clint pulls me back from the fire, away from dad.

"I love you, Colette. Don't ever forget that." He whispers his last words and ran inside the fire.

Before he could save my mom, the house exploded.

Pain.

I run in the fire to save my parents. I see dad reaching for my hand, and grabbed it.

"Hey." A familiar voice said.

I wake up, surrounded by an unfamiliar room. What's going on? Where's my parents?

"Where am I?" I breathed, my hands on my head. Am I going mad?

"You're back in Asgard." I looked at Andrew, who was trying to be calm as possible.

Was that all a dream? Asgard. Frost Giants. I can't believe I forgot. I died.

The flashbacks were running into my head like I'm going crazy. I don't know anymore. This is madness. Everything is a blur.

I can't do this anymore. I break down into tears, confused and clueless. My father. I could've saved him.
Andrew comes up the bed and comforted me. What is he doing?
He wrapped his arms around my shoulder like he did back in the forest and starts brushing my hair. I close my eyes, imagining my dad instead of Andrew. Imagining the younger me.
This felt like nostalgia.

Andrew stood up, and tried to leave. Ugh, why ruin a perfect moment.

"Stay." I whisper as he does what I ask.
He comes back and snuggles close up to me. He is such a great friend and I am glad I have him. For a moment, I felt like I was wrapped around my dad's arms.

I don't ever want this to end.

~~ Morning ~~

I wake up with my arms crossed to my chest underneath his head. Damn, it's cold. What am I wearing?
I have noticed that I'm not in my costume anymore. I was wearing a t-shirt and some jeans. Did he...

"Are you feeling better?" He woke up with a morning voice.

"Yeah. Hey, did you dress me up?" I asked, being suspicious.

"No, the maidens did." He said. Ok, acceptable excuse.

I just kept my outfit the way it is and packed up to go back to Earth. I don't want to go, something is bothering me. I remembered getting stabbed and dying, why am I still alive? I need some answers.
I looked at Andrew but he was already looking at me. Why is he staring at me? Whatever.

"Was I... Dead?" I asked.

"I really don't know. I thought you were, but Thor and his dad did some kind of spell on you, at least that's what I saw." He tried to explain.

"Oh. Anyway, you should um.. Pack up your stuff. We're leaving today." I said, trying not to make it any more awkward. He went out to his room to get his stuff while mine was already done, and went to Odin.

"What did you do to me." I said, mad.

"I gave you a second chance."

"Why would you give me a second chance? Why didn't you give your wife a second chance when she died?" I get furious.

"Do not involve her to this! I had no choice but to get you back alive from the dead. I am not going into further details." He said, ending the conversation with Asgardian sass. I need more answers.

Thor guided us to earth. Ugh, Home. It's only been for a week and I already miss it. Once we landed, Coulson was already standing in front of us. Of course, he's the boss of everything.
Andrew and I gave each other an awkward look. Why does it have to be so awkward?

"How was it?" Coulson asked.

"I died. Like you did." I said, too tired and exhausted to explain more.

"It was fun." Andrew replied. It was fun? What did he mean...

"Great. I'm glad you enjoyed it Mr. Green, and I need a moment with you, agent Bellerose. In my plane." He said. Of course he wanted me to explain more.

Wait, the plane? That's the most magical place on earth. That's my second home before I got involved with the Avengers. I miss it so much. Being a normal agent working with people that was on my old level was so fun that I didn't want to go join the Avengers. Oh, the memories.

"Yes sir." I said while I try to hide my excitement. I can't wait to meet them again.
