It happened again.

Kirishima had been walking out of his dorm when Bakugou exited simultaneously. Guess they set their alarms for the same times, huh. They shared the same awkward glance as they had the day before.

"Mornin', Bakubro!"

"Don't call me that."

Kirishima flashed a toothy grin regardless of his everyday attitude. Talking to him was somehow different than everyone else. He found himself slowly becoming more and more comfortable with the blonde, and didn't feel the need to put up some sort of facade.

He couldn't help but notice, though, that Bakugou looked like a wreck.

His hair was spiky, as usual, but it looked unkempt. His eye bags were evident against his clear, pale skin. Even if he didn't know him very well, he could definitely tell something was up.

"Everything okay?" The redhead asked, leaning forward to attempt to look him in the eye. Throughout the very short time that Kirishima knew the boy, he always noticed that his eyes looked dull. Everybody described him as such an angry, evil person. As if he were supposed to be a villain. But to Kirishima, Bakugou just looked lonely. Lonely and emotionless.

Bakugou didn't respond to this. He just let out a trademark "tch" and increased his walking speed.

Kirishima didn't feel the need to push the conversation any further at that moment. After all, they weren't too far from the classroom, and Bakugou, as usual, wouldn't want to be seen walking in with a specific redhead. Additionally, they had just met, and Bakugou didn't exactly seem like the type to open up too easily.

Kirishima let out an exaggerated sigh as they neared Class 1-A, slowing his pace to allow Bakugou to walk ahead. How could he get through to this guy?

Kirishima tried to pay attention, he really did, but all he could do was stare at the back of the blonde's hair rather than the lesson written on the board. He pitied the poor dude, having such a horrible reputation at a hero school must be pretty tough for him.

What would people think if he started hanging out with him? He could introduce Bakugou more formally to Mina, Kaminari, and Sero to bring him out of his shell. Would they start to realize that he's not a bad person? Could they all be good friends in the end?

The familiar sound of the bell rang through his ears, interrupting his train of thought.

Maybe he shouldn't think too far into this, and focus on trying to get closer to Bakugou in the present.

Out of the corner of his eye, he could see spiky blonde hair rising as Bakugou stood up from his desk. This was the redhead's third day here, and he noticed that Bakugou never goes to the cafeteria during lunch. Without a second thought, Kirishima rose from his seat and slowly followed him.

A few kids in class glanced at the boy as he followed Bakugou, gossiping amongst themselves.

Kirishima had followed the blonde all the way to the rooftop, where it was silent with only the slight gust of wind and no sign of other people. Bakugou had already taken his seat against the rooftop fence, unpacking his lunch.

Kirishima slowly opened the door and let out a sly, "Heyy Bakubro."

Bakugou jerked his head up as if he were angry, but no signs of any sort of scowl were found upon his features. (At least to him, to other people Bakugou always looks like he's scowling).

"Why are you here," he huffed, and still continued to unpack his lunch.

Kirishima walked towards him and took a seat, purposely leaving a bit between them to give Bakugou his required personal space, "You know you enjoy my company."
