I definitely did not steal part of a scene from my other book and changed the names. I swear.

The Sun's bright orange rays began to shine through the windows, illuminating Kirishima's dorm room. The redhead groaned, rolling onto his side, and going back into his state of sleep. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, with the slight sound of morning birds chirping their song. It was peaceful.

That was until his obnoxious alarm blasted throughout the room.

The redhead yelped, falling out of his bed and springing up. He had dragged half of his bedsheets and covers off onto the floor with his fall, and his alarm was still blaring its annoying sound. Kirishima dragged himself up tiredly, untangling himself from the covers and throwing them back onto his messy bed. He had almost forgotten that this would be his new living space now, and was quite frightened to wake up in the unfamiliar surroundings that he would now be calling his home.

He pounded his fist on the alarm's off button, stopping the overused alarm's sound. He had been using the same alarm for over a year now, and developed a strong hatred to even listen to it for a second.

Oh, right. This would be his second day at U.A.

Kirishima stretched and walked to the bathroom, gelling up his hair as usual and throwing on his uniform.

He opened up the door to the hallway, only to see no other than Katsuki Bakugou walking out of the neighboring dorm at the same time. His hair was in the typical spiky form, and it looked like his uniform was carelessly thrown on, as if he didn't have any sense of how to do his tie or button up his shirt.

Both boys stared at each other for a few long moments in an awkward silence, hands still set on their door knobs.

"Hey." The redhead started, lifting his hand to wave emotionlessly. In return he received a scowl from the blonde, who immediately turned away and began walking.

"Ah, wait up!" Kirishima ran after Bakugou, walking side by side with him.

"What do you want, shitty hair?" The blonde mumbled, sparing him a side glance.

Kirishima pouted. "My name is Kirishima! And my hair's not that different from yours.."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Bakugou replied, now staring straight ahead as they walked.

Bakugou's short response left them in yet again, another awkward silence. Kirishima wasn't sure what to talk about to ease the tension, the blonde seemed unwilling to chat about anything in the first place.

"Soo... how was your dayy?" Kirishima dragged out.

"We just fucking woke up, dumbass. Why are you talking to me in the first place, I don't remember giving you a sign that we could be all buddy-buddy."

"Aw, cut me some slack! I'm the new kid for goodness sake, just tryna make friends and fit in."

"Well, you sure aren't gonna fit in while hangin' around me, dumb fuck."

The redhead sighed in defeat. Why did this guy have to be so difficult? No wonder he's got these silly rumors circulating him...

"Guessin' you don't got many friends.." Kirishima mumbled.

"The hell is that supposed to mean?" Bakugou raised his voice slightly, then letting out a sigh. "I don't need friends anyway, they all eventually turn on you."

"Don't say that man, you just gotta meet the right people!"

"Tch, right people my ass. The right people don't exist." Bakugou rolled his eyes.
