"It says to kneed it for ten minutes." Emily said looking at the picture of homemade pasta recipe Rossi had sent them. She turned towards the little boy who was standing on a stool. "I'll start, then you can take over Jack. How does that sound?"

The young boy smiled brightly at Emily. "Ok!" He said watching his father's girlfriend kneed the pasta dough.

Initially she was nervous that Jack wouldn't like her. She was good with kids, but his was not only her boss's kid but her boyfriend's kid. Emily and Aaron had been dating for almost seven months although she hadn't moved in with him, they often spent time together, especially with Jack. She loved spending time with her two favorite guys. Jack and Aaron remained Emily that there was still a lot of good in the world.

As the brunette woman worked the eggs and flour together, she felt two strong arms wrap around her waist. She felt Aaron rest his head in the crook of her neck and kiss the side of her head softly. She let out a laugh as she melted into his touch. Emily straightened up slightly and pushed the dough towards Jack. "You wanna start kneading the dough, buddy?" She asked.

Jack took the dough in his hands and began kneading as Emily did. Although his small hands couldn't quite grasp all of it, he was doing well. Emily and Aaron simply watched him with smiles on their faces, Aaron's arms still around his beautiful girlfriend. While the two had been in a relationship for over half a year, neither of them had those three words yet. In a way, they didn't have to. They already knew the other felt the same the way; but in Emily's mind, it wouldn't hurt to hear those words come out of Aaron's mouth.

Just then, Emily watched as Aaron reached for a bit of leftover flour on the counter and lightly toss it in Emily's face. She closed her eyes and mouth as the powdery substance hit her face. Aaron let go of her and had a stupid grin on his face. As Emily opened her eyes, Aaron watched as they grew dark with mischief. She grabbed a fistful of flour from the counter as well. "You're so dead." She said with a smirk.

Aaron immediately bolted. Emily chased him around the lower level of his house. She could hear Jack cheering for her. "Catch him, Emmy!" He giggled.

Emily managed to cut him off and threw the flour at him, making a mess on the flour. She stood there as he wiped from his face. Then out of nowhere, he quickly grabbed Emily by the waist and began tickling her. She screamed out begging for Aaron to stop as she laughed. He eventually stopped but his grip was still strong on his girlfriend's waist as he turned her around to face him, her face pale from the flour. Once they caught their breath slightly, Aaron pulled Emily in for a soft kiss. He pulled away and smiled. "God, I love you." He thought out loud.

Emily was dumbstruck by his words. She stared at him shocked for a moment before smiling and kissing him again, pulling him in by the back of his neck. When she pulled away, she had a big smile on her face. "I love you too."

Just then, Jack came running up to them with a ball of yellow dough in his hands. "I did it!" He said proudly.

"Awesome job buddy!" Aaron said with a smile.

"Let's go put it in the fridge to rest then we can start on the sauce." Emily said leading the young boy back to the kitchen. She turned back and smiled at her boyfriend.

The three ate their homemade pasta in front of the TV watching Finding Nemo. Once they finished their dinner, Aaron cleaned the dishes and kitchen before returning before returning to the living room. He saw that Jack had fallen asleep with his head on Emily's lap. She hadn't noticed Aaron come back over. She was smiling down at Jack as she ran her delicate fingers through his dirty blonde hair.

Aaron slowly sat down on the couch and put his arm around Emily. She smiled at him before giving him a kiss. "I love you, Aaron." Emily said quietly.

He rubbed gently circles with the arm that was around her. "I love you too, Emily." He said returning a goofy smile.
