The commotion by the entrance made everybody's attention shift momentarily then exclamations and flashlight came from people close to the entrance leaving we further in curious.

''just what is going on--''

''fucking hell!'', that was Hannan as we all watched Alli Khurana get escorted into the hall with wide eyes while Fara couldn't swallow what she was saying.

''Alli Khurana in our party?!'', Hannan said making me blink as I watched him walk past our table with the escorts to the one adjacent ours. Just then, I noticed the lady that walked beside him. How could I not have noticed her? she was the spotlight!

she was in a really beautiful black dress that glittered against her fair skin, her turban perched perfectly on her head revealing little of her sleek brown hair and the red lipstick hugging her full lips was very, very bold making all eyes fall on her.

I mean, she is Alli Khurana's girl, so she needs to be in the spotlight.

''please don't tell me Ya Nusy's husband knows Alli Khurana?'', Hannan said as our gaze trailed he and his woman going up the stage to greet the couples.

''he sure does'', I replied watching Khalifah exchange a bro hug with Alli Khurana then he greeted Nusaibah and introduced his woman.

''ha, wahala! they paused an event just because a special guest arrived!'', Fara exclaimed lightly.

''shikenan! at this point, I'm marrying the president's son!'', Hannan added

when the party finally kicked back to life with the couple's game, Alli Khurana was sitting facing me directly from his table. His best man who escorted me the other day and I learnt his name to be Al-Amin sat by his right while Yasmeen sat by his left, engrossed in her phone. Al-amin said something nodding towards me to Alli Khurana and I had to lower my gaze to avoid contact.

What the hell is Al-amin doing?!

I tried to focus back on the events when I heard everyone around me laughing, I turned to the stage and saw the couple laughing too.

''aww, these two are sooo great together!'', Hannan cooed as she recorded the scene on her phone.
