I don't know whatever break my sisters are observing but they told me they had a two weeks break which we could use to have our getaway and I agreed.
I asked dad if we could use the company jet which we recently purchased early this year and he gave his permission, although, he did say we shouldn't be gone for long because I have pending workloads from MEGACITY and other minor projects plus my sisters have to get back to school in time for resumption from the break.
I packed my suitcase with my clothes, everyday necessities and travel essentials too and ended up with a medium sized filled to the brim suitcase with a hand-luggage.
''we leave in thirty, girls!'', I announced, wheeling my suitcase down to the porch.
''it's so bad Hashim would be left out on this one'', Fara said when I got back upstairs as she came out of her room.
''even if he could tag along, his mamma wouldn't let her auta leave'', I retorted, going back to my room to do a quick nafilah for Allah's barakah and protection.
Exactly thirty minutes later, I stepped out of my room with my shoulder bag, phone and dark shades to Hannan's who was about to drag two big suitcase and a hand-luggage out.
''keh Hannan! We are going for a two-week trip not a two months trip!'', I scolded with wide eyes.
''ya illahi!'', Fara dramatized, joining us in her room, hands on her mouth.
''who knows, anything can happen so I took all kinds of outfit'', she defended innocently with her famous pout.
I sighed and literally forced her to open her suitcase then I filtered the outfits, removing unnecessary ones from it. I didn't stop until just a suitcase was left with obviously displeased her but I couldn't care less.
''we are stopping by the office, I have to round up some projects and check progress before I leave'', I told them as we descended the stairs.
''cool'',
''let me'', Fara offered, stretching her hand for the car key as we got to the garage.
''please I don't want to die yet, Fareeree'', Hannan said as I rounded the car to the passenger seat.
''I'm not that bad of a driver you know'', Fara fired back as she entered and adjusted the seats.
The ride was filled with silence except for the hum of the A/C, occasional blaring of the horn and the screeching of rubber against the tarred Abuja roads.
''will you wait here? I won't be gone for long tho'', I questioned.
''we'll wait'', Fara replied while Hannan absentmindedly nodded, engrossed in her phone.

''I know nothing will go wrong bi idhnillah but don't hesitate to call me if any'', I told Asiya as she escorted me back to the car.
''yes ma'am'', she replied.
''okay, sai anjima'',
''bye, enjoy your trip!'', she wished as I got in while my sisters waved at her in glee.
They exchanged pleasantries and we finally dove off to the airport.
''so when exactly is the wedding? Two weeks before Eid ul- Kaabir?'', Hannan asked as Fara sped off.
''speed limit girl'', I cautioned Fara, eyeing the speedometer before turning to reply Hannan, ''no, two weeks after and I'm not looking forward to the next coming months at all! It's gonna be hella stressful!'',
