"I told you not to go." Rick scolded me as he stood in front of the porch steps with his hands on his hips.

"And I told you that I never listen." I retorted as I rubbed my face in annoyance.

"You could've gotten hurt." he paused and looked around for a second before turning back to me. "Or been attacked by a walker."

"Rick, we're all at risk of being hurt or being attacked by walkers. At every moment of every day, You just got to decide what you're going to do for your days. Are you gonna stay in and cower in the corner or are you gonna go out in the world and try to make a difference?" I paused and looked at Herschel who was standing next to Rick with his arms crossed. "I chose to try to make a difference." I muttered as I passed them and walked into the house. I walked through the halls and into my room, I looked over to the bed and saw Carl lying in the bed, motionless. sighing, I walked to my closet and grabbed a black sweater and some black jeans. It always got cold as shit in my room for some reason. I walked over to my door and locked it quickly before taking my old shirt off and went to the mirror. Looking at my arm you could see a large bruise forming where the walker grabbed my arm, no scratches or anything though. I looked at my collar bone and saw yet another large bruise forming there, from when the walker fell on top of me. I scowled as I looked at the bruise. "Yikes..." I said as I turned around and looked at the scars on my back. They were so ugly, though the redness had gone down tremendously since I had gotten them they still looked terrible.

"Aunty gill?" Carl squeaked out in a tiny voice. Good fuckin thing my back was facing the mirror. "What happened to your chest?" He asked in an innocent voice as he pointed to the bruise on my collar bone. I was quick to throw my sweater and walk towards the door and unlocked it quickly before going to the bed.

"Ah nothing, just had a bit of a spill today." I informed him; I wasn't necessarily lying to him a walker did fall on me.

"Was it because you gave the blood to me?" He asked in a sad voice.

"No, No I just lost my balance is all." I informed as I tilted my head slightly.

"You're hair's so long."

Flashback

"You're hairs so long." He observed it quietly as he reached out and grabbed a little bit of it and swirled it in his fingers.

"Yeah, haven't had the time to go get it cut." I informed as I looked down at it, it was down past my shoulders, it had grown out quite a bit from my usual.

"You shouldn't. It looks good long." He said as he continued observing my hair.

"He's right you know." Rick called from the doorway of Carl's room. "It does look good long."
