I let out a shaky breath. I didn't dare move my arm.

The unicorn stared down at me, giving no appearance of her removing her horn from my arm. Her eyes slid to the guards. "Strike me down, and it will cause her more pain." She looked at me. "Crawl backward."

"I-I can't-"

"Yes, you can," she said, in a surgery, taunting voice.

I cried out as she pulled her horn back. I relented and began shifting back before she decided to put it straight through my arm.

Once I was far enough back, a centaur stooped down, grabbing my arm, and brought my back to the cell.

I gave little cries as it shot pain down my hurt arm. I clutched it to my side.

She threw me into the cell.

I looked up when I heard a yelp. "Levi!"

He attached a handcuff around his neck and the other to the bars.

Levi snarled and hissed, but it did nothing.

"Stop it! Please! He can't breathe!"

"He can breath," a unicorn said, closing the cell door. "He'll be fine."

I rushed over and tried to wrestle the handcuff off. It caused pain in my injured arm, but I ignored it. "You-you shouldn't have come-"

"Well," he said with a groan. "I thought it was worth a shot."

I fumbled around with the shackle, trying to free it from his throat.

Levi pulled a few times, but it did nothing.

"Can-can you breathe?"

He nodded. "Don't worry about me-"

"How can I not?" I whispered before putting my head in my hands. I had automatically begun to scan him for injuries. He was bruised all over and currently in pain though outwardly, he didn't show it.

Through the bars, someone caught my collar and pulled me against it.

I cried out as my head collided with the bars. I struggled with the pull that threatened to somehow pull me through it.

"This is your fault, remember tha-" He cried out when Levi sent a bolt of electricity at him. As soon as we were both away from the bars, he started pushing electricity through the metal, blocking them from getting to me. He quickly began puffing and panting but didn't show signs of stopping as he glared at them.

"Levi," I whispered.

"Stupid fox," a unicorn muttered before thrusting his spear into Levi's side.

"NO!!" I screamed.

Levi let out a small howl before collapsing. The electricity stopped, and he began panting.

"Levi!" I tore off my cloak and wrapped it around him. "Le-Levi." My hands shook as I gathered the tiny fox into my arms. "Why-why-"

"It-it was worth a shot," he whispered between his heaving breaths.

"Stop taking these shots, you stupid fox," I mumbled, resting my head against his furry forehead.

A few onlookers chuckled, and others seemed happy they could go back to sleep.

I watched as they left, shaking, before sliding my hand under the material.

Levi pushed my hand away with his paw. "Don't."

"Don't what?" I whispered, moving it back toward the wound.
