'' Better , mum '' She replied dryly , her lips were chapped . Her pale skin was slowly fading as color was flushing in .

She gently held her mum's hand before speaking .

'' Nothing has happened to me , mother . Lord Jesus was by my side the entire time '' .

'' You skin has gotten so much paler , Isadora . '' Nora said with a mirthless smile , to which she chuckled .

'' Nora , I'm fine . Just my head is aching a tiny bit '' She said .

'' Take the meds on time and sleep for a while '' He said staring at her .

'' Disperse , I wish to talk to Isadora , unvoiced '' Diana commanded to which everyone obliged and left except him .

He stood there like a statue.

'' May I know why you are standing there , I clearly told everyone to leave '' Diana said .

'' I'm the king , no one orders me-''

'' I remember you said that you won't step foot in this chamber '' Isadora chipped in with a cold voice .

He sighed before walking out of the chamber .

'' Isadora , I cannot describe how ashamed I'm because of him . I apologize-''

'' Ma.....'' She said before moving forward and resting her head on her lap , as Diana slowly caressed her hair .

'' I'm fine '....'' She said a lone tear slipped her eye and she buried her face in her lap , sobbing more .

'' Isadora , don't cry , dear . Jungguk doesn't deserves you '' she pulled her up wiping her tears .

She kissed her forehead and engulfed her in a hug .

'' my child , don't waste your precious tears on him '' She broke into a fit of tears .
