"Hahahahah I remember it was so funny." Kate, Margret, and Jungguk laughed at some old incident while I sat back playing with my food.

I looked down at myself. Royal robes, precious jewelry, and title. I had to accept it all back as I didn't want to be his mistress.

Goodness, what has my life become now?

"Anne you look so radiant in this attire Those dirty clothes just didn't suit you, am I wrong Kate ?"

"No, mother, sister does look ravishing I bet brother must be melting right now like he was on his wedding day.." He gave me a glance and his lips curved down finding no emotion on my face.

Yes, I haven't spoken to him since that night's incident. It's been a week now.

"Anyways when are we hearing ''good news'' again ?" Kate asked wiggling her eyebrows and I couldn't take it anymore.

"I think it's time for me to retire excuse me." I got up doing my little bow and left the dinner table. '

I removed my ornaments one by one and my mind flashed back to what Kate said.

"Anyways when are we hearing ''good news'' again ?"

Without thinking twice I got up from my dressing table, decked up in royal attire no jewelry my hair open and cascading down my back as I made my way to his chambers. The guards bowed down to me opening the doors for me and closing them behind me as I walked into his chamber. I saw him staring at the moonlight by his balcony. Hearing my steps he turned around and made his way to me.

"Anne." He softly called his hand coming up to caress my cheek before he placed a small kiss on my forehead. I bowed before he asked.

"What brings you to my chamber at midnight ?"

"I have decided on something."

"That is.."

"I don't want to be your wife."

"You cannot go back on your words that are against your-"

"I would like to be your Mistress.

"Pardon."

"Kate said when are we hearing "good news" again we both know that good news involves pleasuring oneself and I realized that it's a mistress's job to do the same. Why don't just do the job directly rather than doing it indirectly ?"

I saw fire in his eyes as I said those words.

"I don't want to compromise anymore I want to live my life on my own terms." I traced his bare chest with my fingers and the next thing I knew he grabbed me and picked me up in his arms and carried me to the bed.

I saw his eyes in a little darker shade before I was laid down on the bed and he hovered on top of me. I wrapped my arms around his neck before pulling him down for an aggressive kiss, to which he responded immediately. My hands were lost in his silk hair as he rolled me over and I lay on top of him.

Soon we broke the kiss catching our breaths. Our noses rubbed against each other. He sat up with me on his lap. My hands grabbed his and guided them over my body when he abruptly said-

"Come with me." Getting off the bed, he grabbed my hand and aggressively walked down large corridors.

"Where are we going ?" I asked as I hurriedly walked behind . Although he was dragging me it was hard to reach his pace.

"Prisoner's cell."

"Why ?"

"You'll see darling." She got chills at the tone of his words. Soon the well-light corridors were extremely dim as they walked through several cells reaching a specific one.

"Open the cell." He commanded and the guards did so as he walked into the cell with her.

"Whose that ?" She asked staring at the figure on his/her knees tied by the chains on the walls, head hung low in a very bruised up and sympathetic state.

"Guess, darling ." He pushed her forward and she took a closer look and gasped.

"Lillian ?!" She stepped back stumbling only to fall into his arms.

"Jungguk what have you done to her ?" She asked as he chuckled kissing her ear lobe and temple.

"Darling you see this is what happens when someone tries to be my mistress " She gasped as he licked her earlobe.

"Do you still want to be my mistress ?" She shook her head.

"Good that's what I thought and as for her *points at Lillian* She is just deserving the punishment she needs"

"Let's go. Shall we ?" She nodded and they went back to his chambers.

"Anne." He called out softly as they sat on his bed.

"What I did to you was unforgivable, this will always leave a gap between us I know. Apologizing to you would be insulting so I want to ask for another chance to redeem myself and be a better person. Whom you can trust-"

"And I don't give another chance."

"Then let's make a deal ."

"In the next 30 days if I succeed to win your heart, soul, and mind we will start all over but if I don't you are free to live the way you want."

He knew he would win her and this time he wouldn't lose her. She knew deep down he was willing to go to any lengths for her. And deep down she was hoping he to win too.

"True love cannot be found where it does not exist, nor can it be denied where it does. There's a difference between lust and passionate love. Lust can't just creep in. You'll not find it where true love exists, but it has power enough to shatter the world you've worked so hard to create with love, and sometimes, it suddenly changes how you perceived love, to begin with. Love then doesn't live there anymore."
