Chapter 6 : Promise to First Kiss

3 years Later....

Early in the Morning..

Day before Christmas...

Khushi was standing besides her balcony humming a beautiful song.. A small smile was adorning in her rosy lips.. Tomorrow is Christmas, that means Khushi is going to meet her best friend.. but this time He is not coming for his vacation, instead Susmita Dasgupta and Arun Dasgupta are going to Delhi for celebrating Christmas.. and they insisted to take Khushi and Piya along with them..and On their continuous insistant, Madhu finally agreed half heartedly to allow Khushi to go to Delhi for 4 days... Khushi continue to smile remembering the last few years and how she had became close with Arnav...

It's been 3 years, but it feels like just yesterday she had met with her best friend, her Arnav.. when she had first met him, she was only 6 years old baby, but now Khushi is 9 years old girl and quiet mature for her age.. With time, she has became a beautiful girl, with her golden heart... Khushi slowly kissed the locket on her small gold chain which Arnav had gifted her last Chirstmas, a very simple locket having a shape of small butterfly.. Khushi had denied the gift but Arnav insisted telling that he had saved his pocket money to buy this gift for his " Monkey Girl"...Khushi's cheek turn a little red remembering Arnav's words when he had gifted her this locket last year, " this small butterfly, for my delicate butterfly.. My PRECIOUS..."

Yes, many things have been changed in this 3 years... Khushi slowly but steadily became a close part of Dasgupta's as well as Roy Chowdhury family.. She was always the favorite of Susmita and Arun Dasgupta, but now it seems Mihir and Madhuri also became fond of this beautiful angel...Avantika and Aditya already considered as their little sister .. and Nik is the sweetest friend, more like a brother to Khushi... But Reshmi Roy Chowdhury does not like her much, she only tolerated her because of Arnav, and Khushi is very much aware about the fact...

Arnav...Her Arnav...Khushi sigh, apparently, they are bestest friend... But Khushi knew in her heart, there is more..

Khushi can sense Arnav's unsaid words just looking at his eyes... 11 years adolescent Arnav now is a very charming boy and for outer world, he is very jovial and playful... But only Khushi can sense the restlessness inside his heart.. the loneliness which he carries inside his heart since his childhood.. though Arnav never voice out his thoughts but Khushi knew it is because of his Parent's divorce.. Arnav is very obedient child to his parents, though he has been tagged as his mother's son but Khushi knew how he adored his father too..in this 3 years Khushi had understood that, Arnav's most important desire of his life is getting his parents back together, which seems next to impossible..

Khushi is quiet mature than the children of her same age, may be because of her parents demise, or may be because of Gita and Sankar's aloofness, she somewhere had develop a strong wall around her heart, to protect her beautiful heart from the harsh, cruel world.. Only her Arnav has the liberty to enter in her heart..

" Titaliya, are o Titaliya..." Madhu's shrill shout brought Khushi back to reality..

" I am coming buaji.." Khushi run inside the house and hugged Madhu to her dear life..

" uffff.... Leave me Sanka devi, what day dreaming you were doing? Don't you remember that today you have to go for Delhi.. Soon the Dasgupta's will be here... Get ready..." Madhu said while huffing ..
