Chapter 17 : Innocent Dreams

3 Years Later...

Delhi...

Poolside..

Roychowdhury Mansion...

Arnav was sitting on his favorite chair beside the pool while looking at the sky above..

Arnav smile in satisfaction, his sister is in safe hand.. indeed his Avantikadi is so lucky to get her happiness..

Happiness..

The word itself brought a restlessness in Arnav's heart.. This word brings a whirlpool of emotions within him... for Arnav, it is not just a word but Happiness to him is " Khushi..." his Khushi...

And since the time he had realized his strong feelings towards Khushi, he is in dilemma.. Arnav knew Reshmi does not like Khushi at all.. though the reason is unknown , But Arnav is aware that Khushi too had understand about Reshmi's feelings.. that's why, Arnav never expressed his feelings to anyone, not even with his best friend Amar Mitra..

But today, after witnessing Shyamal and Avantika, Arnav felt that he can not let his life slip away from his hand.. will he give up on happiness, on Khushi without even a single fight?

Looking at the sky above, Arnav whispered, " Will there be OUR STORY? Will their ever be Happiness in my life?"

As if listening his words, a footstep became prominent from his behind.. Arnav smiled realizing who is behind him..

" You did not sleep yet, Khush?" Arnav asked still looking at the glamorous moon above..

" Not getting sleep Allav.. thought to watch star and moon with you.. can I sit beside you?"Khushi asked sheepishly making Arnav chuckle..

Finally Arnav looked at his happiness who was looking like a beautiful fairy under the beautiful moonlit...

None of them spoke for a while, silently watching the star.

" Do you think, My parents also love each other like the way Shamyal Bhai and Avan di love each other?" Khushi asked still looking at the sky towards her favourite two stars which she considered as her parents..

" Definitely Khush...Your parents loves each other very much and they are still in love..look how they are smiling at you.." Arnav said making Khushi smile wide..

" Yes Allav..." Khushi was still looking at the stars thus she missed the sadness in Arnav.. Arnav was happy for his sister but the moment Khushi mentioned about her diseased parents, Arnav could not help but think about his parents who are very much alive but so distant with each other..

" Allav... Allav... ALLAV..." Khushi almost shouted making Arnav jerk from his thought.. when he looked at Khushi with his sad eyes, Khushi felt her drop in the pit of her stomach..The sadness in Arnav's eyes, the gloomy face of him reflects the inner thoughts of him... Without wasting any more second, Khushi just hugged Arnav tight and Arnav reciprocated immediately.. He wanted to hide his vulnerable side...

" Sh.... Allav... don't think any stupid things... You know Uncle and Aunty loves each other very much..." Khushi said while making soothing circle in Arnav's back when Arnav inhale in her jasmine scent..
